>>reporter: we just got an update from tempe police. they tell us the 2-year-old twins, a boy and girl, are being treated here and in very serious conditions -- condition and it sounds like progress because firefighters tell us when they got here they were still doing c pr on the twins, not breathing on their own at that point. it happened sometime around 11:00 in the morning. police say both parents were home at the time, but at some point the toddlers got out of the home, into their backyard and into the hot tub thation around it. >> we heard it once, we've heard it hundreds of times. it only takes a few siksdz of in it -- in attention. toddlers are very very mobile and they will find a way out into the yard. >>reporter: and it's not known exactly how long the twins were under water. police tell us that right now they are still at the scene investigating and the parents are being cooperative. but right now as the toddlers are being treated at this this a horrible accident, kim. >> absolutely. thank you so much. keep us updated. sadly this is just the latest drowning involving hot tubs. earlier last month a t wo-year- old girl died after she was pulled from a hot tub at kairve creek -- cave creek. in april a 20-year-old drowned in tucson at a hut to be there and a child almost drowned at a scottsdale hot tub in march. the rules for hot tubs is the same as pools. you need to barrier. we're going to is -- have more tonight at 10:00. we now know the name of the man who drowned at the salt river. deputies say 28-year-old of chandler died there. he was struggling in that watter -- water near gold tree on the lower part of the salt river yesterday. detectives say he was under water for maybe about 4-5 minutes before he was pulled o ut. people started cpr but it was too late. he died there at the scene. he's only talking now to abc15. vacation saying he was pulled over with a gun pointed at him. his 7-year-old daughter sitting right in the back seat and dps responded and we did reach out to that rental company for comment. we have not heard back. but walton said he will be reaching out to him again. he wants to talk to them about if he -- they sent him out with an apparent stolen vehicle. >> thanks sovment -- so much. buckeye police saying a -- the search for a 10-year-old buckeye boy could turn into a recovery operation smg . detectives said the possible change in they said there is still hope to find jesse wilson alive. they said they're no longer using volunteers because of the possible body recovery that would happen. stopping is not an option for maft. after a 2-hour standoff, officers used tier gas and rubber bullets to get this man into custody. his name has not been released. the k9 marco, was attacked by dogs inside that home. we're told color. the more moist air well out to the east right now. that's where we have shower and thunderstorms. that's what the green color is indicating so as far as showers and thunderstorms today, very limited across arizona. a couple of spotty storms and a couple through the white mountains moving to the south. that's about it as you look at the satellite radar. and if you look at current dewpoints, 20s north and 40s along the rim and we're not we have dewpoints sitting in the 50s but not a lot happening to bring us any shower or thunderstorm happening tonight. upper 8 oz at the grand
