with his car. katie katie? >> reporter: dan, the judge denied his bail saying that he is too dangerous for the community. take a look at this video. payne walks up and slumps in front of the judge, almost as if he couldn't keep his eyes open. surveillance video is making national news as it shows payne basically stalking the officers and then accelerating right into them with his car. one of the officers is sent 20 feet up in the air. payne made no mention of the crash. he avoided eye contact which clearly frustrated the judge. >> i need for you to please stand up straight and give me your name and date of birth. mr.payne, would you stand up, please? thank you. >> reporter: payne is facing several charges and will be back in court next week. back to you guys. >> katie, thank you, and sadly, attacks on police officers are not we did some digging, and in 2014, the number was going down but still. hundreds upon hundreds each year attacked on the job, danielle. and police officers were hurt in another crash university but will be okay. they were in their patrol car when they were collided with a white pickup. one of the officers did have to go to the hospital but we are serious. he will be okay. the search is on for the man who hit and killed a drive on i-17. this morning, we are learning more about who the driver is. so we go to the abc15 live drive and justin p azera, and you have information on who people need to keep an eye out for. >> reporter: you really do need to keep an eye out for the car, and it's possible that the suspect is driving this monday, a 19-year-old was driving down i-17 like we are when he started having car problems. he got over to the right-hand side and was trying to jump his car when police say he was hit by this vehicle. dps believes that this guy right here, he is the one that hit the 19-year-old as he was trying to get his car jumped. dps said that he took off at the in a white truck. truck but are now looking for suspect possibly in a gray chevy impala. you have to notice there is damage on the right sunday side of the car. so dps believes he might be driving this car even possibly this morning. they are considering him armed and dangerous. so if you see that car, you need to call 911 right away. justin pazera, abc15. mother. for the second time, her daughter dead because of an accused drunk driver. i believe this is the wrong video here. but the 20-year-old alexis was killed in a crash yesterday in surprise and we brought you the story yesterday. alexis's mom said she lost another daughter years time for us. you realize she is not coming home and her room is right next to mine. and it's not gonna happen. >> wow. two daughters lost to drunk drivers. as for the driver accused of this, they are with his car. katie katie? >> reporter: dan, the judge denied his bail saying that he is too dangerous for the community. take a look at this video. payne walks up and slumps in front of the judge, almost as if he couldn't keep his eyes open. surveillance video is making national news as it shows payne basically stalking the officers and then accelerating right into them with his car. one of the officers is sent 20 feet up in the air. payne made no mention of the crash. he avoided eye contact which clearly frustrated the judge. >> i need for you to please stand up straight and give me your name and date of birth. mr.payne, would you stand up, please? thank you. >> reporter: payne is facing several charges and will be back in court next week. back to you guys. >> katie, thank you, and sadly, attacks on police officers are not we did some digging, and in 2014, the number was going down but still. hundreds upon hundreds each year attacked on the job, danielle. and police officers were hurt in another crash university but will be okay. they were in their patrol car when they were collided with a white pickup. one of the officers did have to go to the hospital but we are serious. he will be okay. the search is on for the man who hit and killed a drive on i-17. this morning, we are learning more about who the driver is. so we go to the abc15 live drive and justin p azera, and you have information on who people need to keep an eye out for. >> reporter: you really do need to keep an eye out for the car, and it's possible that the suspect is driving this monday, a 19-year-old was driving down i-17 like we are when he started having car problems. he got over to the right-hand side and was trying to jump his car when police say he was hit by this vehicle. dps believes that this guy right here, he is the one that hit the 19-year-old as he was trying to get his car jumped. dps said that he took off at the in a white truck. truck but are now looking for suspect possibly in a gray chevy impala. you have to notice there is damage on the right sunday side of the car. so dps believes he might be driving this car even possibly this morning. they are considering him armed and dangerous. so if you see that car, you need to call 911 right away. justin pazera, abc15. mother. for the second time, her daughter dead because of an accused drunk driver. i believe this is the wrong video here. but the 20-year-old alexis was killed in a crash yesterday in surprise and we brought you the story yesterday. alexis's mom said she lost another daughter years drier air with a slight chance of storms in the eastern half of the state and the white mountains. high temperatures will make it in the upper 90s today and guess what? we keep the 90s in the forecast for saturday before the triple digits return. we'll talk more about the uv concerns for today next. iris, i told you about a crash in scottsdale a couple of minutes ago at osborne and our crew just arrived on the scene, so we have live pictures. it's blocking part of the roadway, and we are hearing it's a are trying to prop up part of the car there. i don't have too many details but it's a spot to avoid. instead of hayden, scottsdale road is an option and i-10 eastbound at jack rabbit trail, i don't think this is blocking traffic but something to look out for and it could add to the minor
