>> reporter: a chris, we just got on scene and take a look at the amount of resources they i just talked with one of the folks from superstition fire and they say this is a mobile home. it's sitting back on the property so we can't get a good look at it but when this fire broke out, they said it was fully involved, see you can imagine they just through all the resources toward this and i just found out thankfully nobody was injured or living in that mobile home at the time. they believe it was used for storage. aren't sure exactly what started the fire, but they will try to pinpoint that, but again, no injuries thankfully here at apache junction. >> are justin pazera. thank you for that. also wittman only on abc15, a s.w.a.t. situation right now. possibly a situation -- also breaking news, happening right now, only on abc15, a s.w.a.t. team was called in because the man refused to come out and officers believe the man may have an out -- may have a mental illness. no injuries to report. a developing story that ended in a rough day for first responders. a rescue mission turned deadly in the north valley and three chandler firefighters ended up in the hospital. a well-known veterinarian has died underground storage unit and the people who tried to help him or in critical condition -- are in critical condition. the storage unit held greens and apparently water was being trained from the storms. it caused auction -- oxygen levels to drop below the low -- drop below for percent -- 4 in the pot -- the family. >> you think he's the greatest person you've known. >> he's as close to jesus as you could get. >> firefighters say don't ever go into a confined space. call for help because you never know if it's safe. this started as a dumpster fire but ended with three firefighters in the hospital. firefighters say to chemicals mixed together in at a metal cleaning business and that's what caused the fire. the smoke then turned kind of a strange color so the firefighters did go to the hospital me -- mostly as a precaution. >> part of me is missing and part of his mother is missing. now to the shocking death of the three-year-old boy uniontown is sheriff deputies say the child populist -- >> princeton was the kind of child that could light up a room. i know you hear that all the time. he never hurt anybody or did anything to anybody, but just be a little three-year-old kid. >> the 16-year-old is waiting to find out whether he will be charged as an adult. happening right now from the live desk, a man is dead after an officer-involved shooting in the bronx. this is strange situation. two officers were patrolling when somebody alert them of a man causing a problem -- alerted them of a man causing a problem inside a deli. they went to escort the man out of the store and that's when he grabbed the officers' gun from the holster and fired several rounds, striking the officer and killing him. the second officer was able to we're hoping the surveillance pictures can help find the person who killed a convenience store clerk. the masked gunman entered the 7- eleven near 16th street and southern, demanded money, to two workers into the back and shot one of them. if you have any information, please call police. know that there's a new push to ban children out on the trails in the extr after a 12-year-old died last month in the north valley. this video right here from a fundraiser for the family. we're told cody's father never approved of the hike and that he was hiking with somebody else . >> my heart just sank for them because i have a son who's 10 as well. >> the medical examiner's office said cody's cause of death is still pending and phoenix police are investigating. multiple gun -- multiple rounds at once be allowed on the street?
