It looks to be weakening a little bit but leaves behind quite a bit of snow and could cause travel concerns across the upper midwest area as that storm system moves off to the another storm in the Pacific Northwest as well, bringing some snow to that area. As we look at the next 24 hours, you will notice the storm systemle will keep pushing off to the east. Bringing some snow, again, to spots like new york, they had a lot of snow last week. But the good news is, this storm system is not looking to leave as much snow as that storm system from last week, where we had all of that lake effect snow. As it continues to push off to the east. And as we head into thanksgiving, we will continue to track those storm systems moving into the west. But for the valley, no storm system is going to make a huge impact on our weather. The temperatures are run home. The temperatures running pretty close to where they were yesterday but they are a couple of degrees warmer. So the warmup happening a little quicker today than yesterday. And as expected, we are already in spots. Like glendale. And checking in at 67. And peoria, coming in right at 68. And ahwatukee, 68 for you. As well. And gilbert, at 68 degrees. Still holding on to the low 60s in chandler and mesa. But overall, shaping up to be a beautiful morning so far. Across the valley of the sun. And not bad across the state. Still a little chilly up north. We did drop into the 20s. In flagstaff this morning. And now, we are up to 45 there. And 52 in payson. And a nice 61 degrees out at lake havasu here at this ho mostly clear skies. Pretty much across the state today. And as we zoom out, aside from a system that is impacting parts of nevada and eventually impacting parts of utah, here in our state and surrounding states and out west in california and new mexico, all in the clear. And so if maybe youre getting ready to hit the road, traveling ahead of the holiday, here is one view in our state. This is the casino cam. The i17 near camp verde, drive around the state today. With conditions very nice, too. As far as the temperatures go. And cant verde sitting at 66 degrees. Sedona, or rather, thats the high in camp verde, sedona will make it to 58 and make it into the upper 40s for highs in flagstaff. And if youre heading down to yuma, that temperature in the upper 70s, and sunny skies and sunny skies on your drive, out to san diego, with temperatures in san diego, in the upper 60s today. And even if youre taking the 10, conditions very nice, with the clear skies in the fo really all the way down into southern california. And we will stay dry, too. As we go into thanksgiving. We will see a disturbance move just to our north. It will sends a weak cold front across our state but you will barely notice it. We will not see a drop in temperatures. In fact, temperatures are a little higher the next couple of days and we will keep our forecast all dry. So clear through the day today, and clear through tomorrow with a passing high thin cloud and maybe a light breeze, upwards of 10 miles but not too strong. It should be a beautiful and now our rain chances are back in that sevenday forecast. But not until about sunday. So we will stay dry through black friday. And then a few more clouds. And rain chances start to develop in the high country. And then by sunday, we see the rain chances for the valley. 10 now. And something we are watching and you want to keep an eye on the forecast, too, because if youre traveling around the state, weve got a decent shot of snow showers, back in the high country, sunday, into monday, and that should make conditions slick. I have a couple of examples and any time are you short on time, and you have, if youre traveling or anything or you want to burn off the big meal, these are quick short and sweet, yet very effective. And one of our exercises we have today, is squat deck. Deck, you take that dumb bell, we have one example right here, with a dumb bell and the other one without the dumb bell, so just get that heart rate up. And you know, burning off those calories and everything and you can use the weight over here and without the weight and move your body. And you sat down all day long and enjoy the meal. And you want to get the body moving and the heart pumping. This is one example. How many should somebody do. I would say with your squat decks, it depends how deep you want to go in the lunge with the squats, in the squat, or how rapidly yo the movement. Really it is what youre looking for, to get your heart rate up or get the squat going. I would say between 15 to 20 reps perhaps for three rounds. Got it. The second one is clock lunges. An effective one. You can use them with weights or without. But this really targets your entire lower body right here. So doing a front lunge. Lateral lunge, reverse lunge and you get the whale quad and jordan is here with a bicep curl and full body workout. Upper body and lower body. When youre short on time and looking to knock it out and get it over with. That is an easy one to do. Absolutely. The third one, so after youre done taking that nap after your thanksgiving meal, this one actually starts on the floor. And we will go for a plank. So plank position right here. You will keep your elbow under your shoulder. And this one targets your core, and your quads right here, as well as your shoulders. And again, right under those shoulders so youre not asking too much of the shoulder joint. But again, like i said, after the nap, roll over and plank it out. And if you want to add Something Else to it, you can do a heel raise right here and get a little glut in there as well. That is intense. I do planks. I keep both feet on the ground. A standoff situation going on right now in the east valley. A man wanted in at least two armed robberies. He is now barricaded in a home in gilbert. Abc 15 chris grow is ray road and higley. They want to have the guy out, because they have him tied to two armed robberies in chandler overnight and earlier this morning and step out of the way to see a ground eye level view now. Obviously, s. W. A. T. Officers just outside the home. Chandler police and Gilbert Police assisting in this and telling us that they believe the man is inside the home by himself and tied to at least two armed robberies of circle k stores. With various locations, within chandler. Now, again, this man is believed to be armed. He has refused to come out at this point. We are waitinto see when and if this has been resolved. But so far, what we have heard and what we have seen is a very large number officers on the screen and flashbang pops going off at several points since weve been on the scene.
