And these clouds east of i17, the storms rather, you can see the clouds from the valley as you look to the north. Were getting scattered storms developing in the high country. Not a lot of movement but they are producing pockets of heavier rainfall. And we have more scattered thunderstorms and showers to the northwest again along i40 just east of the kingman area with a few more popups southwest of and also in la paz county. And and a few near tonopah. And nothing near the valley yet. But the potential will be there this afternoon for a few of the popups, closer to the phoenix metro or in the valley. Not a lot of action in the white mountains. Again, going into this afternoon, were going to watch for a few popups that will be possible across the valley. So theres a 10 chance that we could see some of these spotty showers, possibly a few thunderstorms. Activity but watch for the pop ups through the afternoon. The best potential across the higher terrain to the east and north. And southeast arizona, a chance for scattered thunderstorms. And best potential will be through the afternoon into the early evening. I think after sunset we lose the instability we tend to get with the sun. And we start to clear out. And overnight looking at drier conditions with drier conditions heading our way as we go through the weekend. Clearing completely saturday, sunday, and next week for the valley.
