Reporter a very scary situation. The northbound lanes are open overnight. One woman is dead and now the suspects are on the run. According to police the victim called 911 before 7 30 last night. She told the dispatchers that three men were chasing her. The dispatchers say she got onto the highway and that truck was still following her according to this woman. All of a sudden shots fired and the call gets disconnected. When police get here, they find her vehicle crashed into the center wall and she has gunshot wounds. She was pronounced dead at hospital. The whole incident causing major backups on the 51. We spoke with a witness who says he saw the whole thing unfold. Her car veered over to the left. And hit the wall. So its going to stay humid today and that moisture will linger but by tomorrow well get more of that drier air and saturday also seeing dry air so were going to drop our Storm Chances out of the forecast completely friday to saturday.
