is what we're looking at right now as temperatures are really warming up. already mid-90s. we're sitting at 96 now. yesterdays high temperature was 3 degrees hotter. today we will get past yesterdays high and keep warming further. good news is it will be a dry heat. right at 18%. dew point in the mid-40s. we have some drier air. not so typical of the monsoon moisture as we have l monsoon moisture. today a high of 105. hot and dry. we will talk about the monsoon storm chances, we're not done with the monsoon, we have chances of storms in the forecast this week. i will show you that in a few minutes. they started shooting in the parking lot of a busy phoenix bar. this morning they are on the run. nick ciletti has been on the scene all morning. what is the latest? >> reporter: the crime scene tape is down but a few hours ago this was a much different home. this is where two men were shot overnight. if you know this area you know there are a lot of bars and restaurants here. a lot of people surprised something like this happened here. phoenix police say about 2:00 this morning some kind of a fight broke out outside of this bar that involved four guys. two got inside of a car and that is when they shot at two other guys. one was shot in upper leg, the other in the lower leg. one was getting work done in the doorway. -- getting worked on in the doorway. we know the suspects drove north on 16th st. in a gold chevy blazer. that is what phoenix police are saying. right now we are working to try to get an update on their descriptions also, trying to see what kind of condition the men in -- the men are in. nick ciletti with abc 15. new video from a major scare at lax. travelers running for their lives, or so they thought. investigators calling this a false alarm. at one point all flights were grounded. police found nothing. airport officials say a person wearing a zorro costume was detained during all of this, it is unclear if he had anything to do with the evacuation. and now this is the wrong video of the story i just read, abuse of power, intimidation, low morale, new accusations involving the tsa. since its creation the agency is no stranger to scandals. the latest scandal could be putting your safety in the sky at risk. i'm a patriot at heart. >> reporter: for nearly 9 years julie took her job screening bags and passengers at sky harbor very seriously. of the day when i putting people on a plane it is safe. >> reporter: no longer on the job, she reveals tsa doesn't follow all of their policies and it could be putting passengers at risk. >> there have been days i have been on x-ray five hours. you're only supposed to be in a position 30 minutes. >> we told them you're going to reach a breaking point. >> reporter: dennis spendable -- spent more than 11 years with the tsa. now he represents employees through the union. he says the lack of training. >> i cannot tell you the amount times either myself or 70 on the floor would say what do i do for this? are speaking out exclusively to abc 15 and katie conner. >> reporter: for almost a decade it was julie's job to make sure nothing got through security. now she is out of a job. >> i feel like i got thrown out with yesterdays trash. >> reporter: before julie started her shift last december she was given a standard breathalyzer test. there was something wrong with the machine. >> no, honey, no problem. this happens all the time. go back to work. >> reporter: fast-forward to a sexual harassment case were julie was spoke -- was called as a witness. when she spoke out she says her harassment began. julie says when she went to supervisors it got worse. leather.>> reporter: dooley was eventually fired. to remember that miss breathalyzer test? that's why the tsa told her she was can. >> not true. if it was positive why would you send me back to full duty work?>> reporter: julie says this official says it's like the lord of the flies, attacker bee attack. >> is a national problem. >> reporter: natalie quam represents julie and other tsa employees and is getting -- in disputing she says tsa employees that raised a question about national security they often get punished. >> you can't keep on harassing these people. even when you're harassing people your spending taxpayer money. enough is enough. >> management needs to be held accountable. >> reporter: julie no longer wears the tsa uniform still wants to make sure passengers are safe. she hopes her story proms change at the tsa. >> we have reached out to tsa multiple times. as of this moment we have not received a response. the pinal county sheriff's office revealing information about the so-called septic tank murders. sheriff paul that view says that victims traveled in the same area, the same truck, rather, near casagrande. that was found burned out. later that year the remains of one victim was found in a desert wash. five years after that a second set of remains found in a septic tank. workers of the septic tank system went down into the actual septic tank to continue to drain and recover the bones that were visible to the eye. >> both men were reported missing from a west phoenix home back in 2000 age. the murder serving linked to a violent mexican -- mexican drug gang. a sad story in tucson. a teenage boy found shot to jonathan schmeling was with three others trying to rob a group of people walking down that street. that group started running. that's when officers say somebody pulled out a gun and started shooting. it was jonathan schmeling who was hit and killed. the three who were in the teat -- who were with the teenager facing charges of first-degree murder. in mississippi a community is coming together to remember two catholic nuns murdered in their home. more than 300 people gathered sisters paula merrill and margaret held. a funeral mass is set for tonight. rodney earl sanders confessed to those murders. finance were immersed -- were nurse practitioners who operated a clinic in one of the state's poorest counties. this might have your rethinking the way you carry your phone. this colorado debts as the battery of his sons phone exploded while in his florida say the homeowner hit the 19-year-ol tried to hold him down. we deputies arrived they say he was too violent to put in the rescue helicopter and had to be taken to the hospital by ambulance instead. the teenagers friend said they were using methadone and acid. a new evacuation order issued overnight because of the sober on his fire in northern california. more than 1200 firefighters are working to put that out. it started over a month ago. it has already burned more than contained. the trial was supposed to start next month but leonard moreno asked for a change of counsel because of irreconcilable differences. now he is back in court today. this time he is asking for his right to a speedy trial. he is accused of killing officer horse -- jorge vargas in 2015 when he was 15. he pleaded not guilty. a man mcso says was behind the shooting spree on the beeline highway in court today. james david walker opened fire on several people and officers back in may according to police. he is facing 40 charges including aggravated assault, armed robbery and kidnapping. walker says he is not guilty. the trial for man well pacheco is underway. he's accused of gunning down his uncle at a car wash two years ago. police say he went to the car wash, shot him and sat under a tree until police showed up. what the motive is for the killing. coming up next, we are taking action to help you
