look how heavy it was in the tri-valley. that's moved off towards the east and we do see a little bit of light rain moving across los gatos and lexington hills and farther off towards the south. the rest of the day, going to see some clearing and look at how warm it will be, into the low 70s in san jose, morgan hill, concord, and santa rosa up to 72. the weekend is coming up in a few memberships. here's the early morning commute. >> overnight there were a few solo spin outs and i'm assuming it is because the wet roads. traffic accept ssensors are pic the rain. there is a crash on southbound 880 on industrial parkway. it appears to only be a fender bender. just remember to always slow it down. east bay drive times aren't looking too bad. chp has issued a wind advisory for the bay bridge. take a live look right now, expecting a couple breezy conditions, so we'll keep a close eye on the roads, so far not so bad. >> all right. today thousands who smoke marijuana will line up in golden gate park for the annual and legal tradition, but in san francisco this year the celebration might be different. >> after years of complaints from neighbors who live nearby and the problems of cleaning up tons of trash, they are making changes. pete saratos with more on the changes for this year. pete, good morning. >> good morning to you, sam and chris. yes, this unsanctioned event can bring anywhere from 10,000 to 15,000 people to golden gate park. so this time around, at least this year, they are teaming up with a private sponsor to cover some of the additional costs of additional resources, such as the fencing you see behind me. you're showing video right now of crews setting up around golden gate park for the 4/20 event. gated security with an adult-only admission, medical personnel, and port kl trash bins and bathrooms. that could be a benefit when you consider the amount of garbage left in the park after the event. this time all vendors will need to be permitted for zero tolerance with those who aren't. this is not a city sponsored event, but explained how the city is doing its best to work around this unsanctioned event. >> we can't stop everybody from smoking pot. technically, smoking in the park is illegal, but we realize that, you know, this event, as i said, is going to happen. >> to further re-enforce that point, the city made it clear the selling of drugs is not permitted and the same applies to alcohol. unauthorized music will not be allowed, as well. we'll talk more about the changes to the event, as well as the impact on traffic for those traveling around golden gate park this morning. live in san francisco, pete suratos for today in the bay. new this morning, police trying to figure out if anything was hit about 10:00 in the night on grant and pacheco streets. nobody was injured. all police would tell us last night is a shot or shots were fired. hoping to get an update for you this morning. it is 4:34 right now, and this morning search and rescue crews will continue to scour the area near truckee tahoe airport. brenda and mark richard of santa rosa flew out of the truckee airport on monday bound for petaluma but haven't been heard from since. the search for their plane is focused on the rugged area northwest of the airport. brenda, who neighbors say had been flying for years, was at the controls. >> did she say why she wanted to get that pilots license?
