And the devil is in the details, as you know better than anyone else. How do you get china and russia to implement and enforce these sanctions . I read a quote from a north korean expert in the times this morning. The resolution, 1 ye1 years in e past didnt work. They basically very much said we have to enforce these to be for for this to be legitimate. We have to hold the countries accountable. We will be watching to see who is enforcing. More importantly than that, china accestepped up and said, theyre not only going to vote for this, they announced theyre going to enforce and urged other countries to enforce. The Missile Launch took place right next to their border. Their ground shook. The Chinese People felt it. They know this is series. For decades, your country has been trying to build up some kind of Nuclear Deterrent or offensive capabilities. Youre now this close. Youve got a nuclear device. Youve got missiles that youve shown can reach the heartland of the united states. Your last step is to combine those two things. Why in the world would you negotiate now when you are this close to having the weapon that will give you the strongest hand . He may not negotiate now. I think what we did was, we sent a message. Now, we have gone directly after their hard currency. Think about it. All of the revenue that comes into north korea. It doesnt go to feeding their people. It goes to a Ballistic Missile program. They will not longer will have the money to do that. Can you stop him in time from combining those two things . The missile and shrinking the nuclear twidevise to fit on of t missile. In your line of work, this is serious. Does the white house have a credibility problem . Does that concern you . As a governor, every day, you try to get the trust of your people. Thats part of your people. And the only way you get the trust, is not by what you say, by what you do. If you look at the actions, this president , all of the new investment thats happening, a lot of people will say, i dont believe this or that. You say that, look at the actions, it acknowledges it tacits acknowledgment because you cant trust the words. I dont see that way. I look at results. I know theres back and forth and sometimes unnecessary chatter that goes back and forth with that. But you have to look at the results. This is a time we have to look at the American People and say, are they better today than yesterday . And i think they are. The administrations just received a sweeping report on Climate Change, coming from scientists at 13 federal agencies. It hasnt been made public yet the but its been reported, that were feeling Global Climate change right now. And human activities are primarily responsible for that Global Climate change. Given the fact we just pulled out of the paris climate accord, will the administration embrace the results of this study . First of all, you have to look at, just because we pull out of the paris accord, doesnt mean we dont believe in climate protection. Were saying were not going to i think were very aware that we need to do that. What were saying is were saying were not going to sell out american businesses to do that. Will we embrace the results of this report from 13 federal agencies . I havent seen the report. But i dont see any reason why they wouldnt. The marine corps is considering to order a temporary aviation standdown to refocus marine pilots and crews on safety. This follows a series of accidents, including the crash off of the coast of australia over the weekend. Tom costello has the latest on this. What can you tell us . Reporter this would not be unprecedented. But it underscores safety concerns in the military. In a standdown is addressed, it could last 24 hours, giving every ground crew time to focus on the basics. It comes after three marines were killed in the crash off of australia on saturday. In the coral sea, search teams have found the wreckage of that marine corps mv22 osprey that went into the water, while trying to land on a ship during military exercises. Of the 26 people onboard, 23 were rescued. The three marines killed. Nathan ordway of wichita. Ruben velasco of los angeles and Benjamin Cross of maine. The search for a rape suspect is now over. They found the body of Brandon Powell with a selfinflicted gunshot wound last night. The suicide ends the manhunt after powell escaped custody on friday when he overpowered a deputy. A growing concern in florida about a dangerous sinkhole. Its swallowed up two homes. Lets take a look from above, as you can see from the drone shot of this area, some of the five homes that have added to the two, that were swallowed, are in the shot. But the land around it is starting to show divots. And the experts say the divots suggest that the sinkhole could get larger. And those in homes that are unaffected, the question is, could they be next . This morning, new urgency for residents living around this sinkhole near tampa. Five more homes have been condemned and are slated for demolition. Officials finding cracks in foundations and sidewalks. Sad. Its a disaster. A sinkhole. Reporter seven homes falling victim to this houseeating natural disaster. Our affiliate wfla flew overhead. The house itself is gone. The pool still stands. And the debris thats in it, theyre pulling it out, piece by piece. Reporter Emergency Operations are under way to shore up the hole, dumping limestone in its edges. In this part of florida, sandy soil sits on top of a layer of clay and a layer of limestone. Water or Drought Conditions can dissolve the layers, forming a sinkhole. This one is interesting to scientists at the university of south florida. 67 years ago, there was a large lake here. In time, it was filled in. Becoming orange groves and vacation homes. The neighborhoods history may have played a role in the formation of this monster sinkhole. My suspicion is this is all the material that was once at the bottom of the lake. And this area used to be lake bottom. Reporter that sinkhole there, large enough to swallow a 747. Four members of bostons teamsters local 25 have been charged with attempt eed extortion. Court documents describe the men using strongarm ak ticks, threatening to shut down the sets if the show didnt hire union drivers. Lakshmi told the court she felt bullied when she arrived at the shooting location, accusing one man of leaning into the car she was riding in, telling her, quote, what a shame about that pretty face. And theyre claiming that a treacherous School Environment caused their son to take his own life. Blake mccoy has this story this morning. Reporter good morning to you. What can cause an 8yearold boy to want to take his own life . Hanging himself from his bunk bed. In a newlyfiled lawsuit this morning, the parents alleged that the school should have done more to protect him. Gabriel taye was just 8 years old when he took his own life in january. According to his parents, this video shows the third grader being bullied at school, two days earlier. Heres gabriels mom, shortly after his death. He probably didnt want to say, mom, somebody is bullying or picking on me. You know . He didnt know how to tell me. Reporter this morning, gabriels parents are suing the school district, claiming in part, School Officials not only knew the studentonstudent aggression was rampant, especially in the unsupervised bathrooms, but chose to cover it up. He should never have had to suffer like this in third grade. He was a great student. He loved school. But as the bullying progressed, it became really torture for him and they had no idea that that was happening. Was happening. Reporter the family claims the video showed gabriel, knocked unconscious in a school bathroom, lying on the floor for almost seven minutes, while other students kicked and poked him. Cincinnati Public Schools says they found out about the video after investigators looked at his death. And they were told that a boy was on the floor. A school nurse checked him on the floor and told his mom he had fainted. Other parents complain about what the suit calls a culture of violence. These kids dont want to come to school. I went to teachers. I went to principals. Ive even went as far as calling the school board. I got no call back. Its not a safe school. Its not. And it needs to be investigated severely. Reporter prosecutors investigated his death and did not bring any charges. The school has said its reviewing procedures regarding supervision in the restrooms and is committed to student safety and a positive learning environment. Its chicken thighs, olive oil and salt and pepper. Why did you pick chicken thighs . They can lay flat in the pan. And they have a lot of flavor. Im going to season both sides with at and pepper. And put a little bit of olive oil in this pan. On medium heat. And put them skinside down. Why this pan . Its nonstick. And this is a fry wall. Thats what im wondering about. It prevents the grease from going all over your kitchen. Protects your clothes. Let them sit until the skin crisps. When theyre golden like this, flip them over. Is it 15 or 20 on each side . No. About 15 to 30 on the first side to get crisp. And then, you flip it. And another 15 until its done. Once theyre cool, you can use a fork to shred them. We. We like to use our hands. This is your building block. You have a handful of recipes you can use with this and go with anything. Exactly. These are the flavors we like to add. Add bacon. And reading the screenplay, it managed to capture the sweetness in the book and do all of the things that it does so wonderfully. Tell the story through this childs eyes. And it really is an incredible lesson in empathy. And its something i wanted to be a part of. The first thing i did after hamilton would be this film. The book is being a classroom initiative. Can you talk about that . Feeteachers have been the book and the movie resonates deeply with teachers. It is a story about kindness. And teachers use that story to teach compassion and empathy, all of the thicks that they want to learn. They use it to help guide their discussions in their classrooms. Its been a wonderful way to guide the discussions in classrooms with the students. No know that r. J. , with the book, and daveed, with the film, youre leaving a mark, making a change. That has to be an amazing feeling. Its very humbling, i have to admit. Its impacted people and inspired children to want to be kinder to one another. Its really humbling. Im constantly amazed. I used to be a teacher, as well. To get to contribute to the work theyre doing every day, teaching is so difficult and underappreciated. And so, the fact that i get to be part of something that teachers are going to use in their classrooms, is really exciting. And daveed plays mr.
