As you said more than a hundred arrests in new york city alone and here in baltimore more peaceful protests last night. We get our first glimpse into what may be included in the freddie gray death investigation. Overnight a Cross Country wave of protests in support of baltimore. In new york city, demonstrators clashed with police. Dozens there arrested. Still unclear this morning, just what happened to 25yearold freddie gray in the back of the police van. This morning the Washington Post reports a sealed Police Document quotes an unnamed prisoner who shared the van with gray. He heard gray banging his head against the van and saying he was trying to intentionally injure himself. That prisoner was separated from gray with a metal partition. The Police Commissioner said the second prisoner riding with gray told investigators the trip was calm and quiet. It was widely anticipated that Baltimore Police would publicly release the results of their investigation tomorrow. But the Department Says instead it will turn that information over to the state attorneys office. We cant put out too much information, but it may jeopardize the case itself. If anyone needs to be prosecute. Reporter that is adding fuel to the accusation. What next . We have to make sure that whatever whatever news we get on friday we have to continue to do this in peace. Reporter Court Records reveal gray had a long rap sheet with a series of arrests this year for allegedly dealing drugs, assault and burglary. And Late Wednesday 101 people nearly half of all of those arrested during monday nights riots here were released from Police Custody because police didnt complete the proper paperwork within 48 hours. Im not angry with him anymore. As long as i have breath in my body you will not be on the street selling drugs and youre not going to live like that. Not with me. I understand how how much my mother really cares about me. So im going to try and do better. Reporter on cnn michael was asked why he wanted to join the protests. At first i was like, i dont care. I dont care about the law like. Like police, but like my mother talked to me about it. She was just like what did they do to you, did they ever hurt you . Im like no they didnt hurt me but some of my friends are not here because of what they did. Reporter but michaels mother is facing some backlash for beating her son in a public manner. With some on social media questioning the hypocrisy of praising graham amidst all the violence in baltimore. For her part, graham says she was only concerned with protecting her son.
