Is this race for the democratic nomination essentially over once the announcement comes before it even began . Honestly, it probably is. You hate to assume that this early out. Everything can happen. Use the cliches. The fact of the matter is unless joe biden gets in the race there isnt a threat to her, other than herself. I think her main opponent is herself in this. If she if this announcement tour is kind of like her book tour, i think in a month, youll see a bunch of democratic hand wringing, people looking at the former governor of maryland and others and saying maybe joe biden and others should get in. I think it really depends how she performs. The toughest primary opponent she has is herself. In terms of the role of former president clinton, this has been harshed out because it didnt always work out last time around how much wrangling will there be and can there be . Theyre trying to organize the campaign differently. There were two camps inside the Clinton Campaign in 2008. You had people around former president clinton and Hillary Clintons people. This time, we have the former chief of staff to bill clinton, Senior Adviser to president obama, and his job is to corral the old bill clinton crowd and keep them in the loop. He was out of the loop sometimes of campaign decisions. Thats one way they think they can corral him. On the republican side, you sat down with rand paul, saying he thinks the clintons are above the law. The message already out there about personal emails. Is this the main line of attack from the Republican Party . I think so. There were early roles in colorado, virginia and iowa and they asked this is Hillary Clinton honest and trustworthy to be president , and she was on the wrong side of that answer. More people in iowa colorado and virginia said she wasnt honest and trustworthy. The email story gives republicans an entree into the issue. Its something she has to fix. This is a longterm problem for her if shes not careful. Itll be interesting to see how quickly its addressed once the campaign is launch. After fleeing from the Police Officer and facing a warrant of failing to pay child support, he was seen on a cell phone video fleeing, when the officer shot scott in the back. The officer was jailed on a murder charge and a memorial marks where the killing occurred. You come out here and see what actually happened. You see the distance which he was killed. Its sad. To a daring diamond heist. This caught on camera. Security camera footage capturing the bandits in the act. Police in london hope itll help they will track down the jewel thieves. Police are calling it audacious. On the Security Camera you can see the burglars going in and out of this safe deposit building to a side door over and over again. Yet, the breakin went undiscovered for four whole days. It was supposed to be the safest place in london to store your jewels. Nearly 1,000 individual saves are within this mass of steel and reinforced concrete. Reporter yesterday, Police Released pictures showing a gang of thieves using a side door for nearly 12 hours, hauling away diamonds and gems. Hollywood couldnt have written it better. The thieves disabled the elevator on the second floor, then dropped down the shaft to the basement. They used a diamond core drill like this one to cut through more than six feet of reinforced concrete, and raided the vault. Police say the gang spent all night grabbing the loot and returned for another allnighter a day later. Only one alarm went off the first night. A Security Guard found the front door locked and did nothing more. There have been a number of reports around the alarm being activated on friday and the police response. This will of course, be part of the investigation. Reporter some customers are waiting to hear what they lost. It was like a military operation. Thats whats scary. Reporter like the 2003 diamond heist, when thieves got away with 500 million in jewels. A book was written on that heist, and believes this gang operated the same way. They had either inside information, or they carefully surveyed the place for a long time. Police are trying to figure out how much in jewels was stolen. The guesswork is around 100 million. Possibly more. And theyre now investigating themselves, as well looking into whether or not anyone responded to that one alarm. A late night pursuit in the east bay leads to an innocent bystanders death. They were attempting to pull over a reckless driver. Officers say when they tried to stop the black corvette the driver sped a warrant police followed and when officers finally found the vehicle, they saw it had crashed into another car at 24th street and gay nor avenue killing the passenger of the second car. As it appears, the suspect vehicle probably crashed into the other vehicle here at the location killing the passenger of that vehicle. The driver of that vehicle is in Critical Condition. The suspect Vehicle Driver fled from the scene on foot. That person is still on the loose. Officers say they found another Person Injured in the area. They are not sure whether that person was in the suspect vehicle or a pedestrian. That person in Critical Condition this morning. The city of morgan hill ramped up its Water Conservation for the drought. They declared a level 2 water shortage. That means residents can water only two days a week. Leaks must be repaired within 48 hours of being found. Swimming pools and spas should only be refilled to one foot. Morgan hill has conserved 20 . The statewide was barely 3 in february. More has to be done as california lives through its fourth year of this drought. They could mantane certain cities with high water usage to cut as much as 35 of their water. None of us really know what they are. Ramps are trendy. Theyre only available two or three weeks a year. Theyre kind of like a scallion onion, but they give you bang for the buck. They have a little bit of onion flavor and a little bit of garlic. Were going to do a simple rub. We are going to use the leaves but later. Take a spoon. Just stir up these. Im going to add to this a little bit of lime juice. Acid. A little bit of peppers. Salt nutmeg, allspice and thyme. Im going to drizzle in two to three tablespoons of olive oil. You can smell the nutmeg. I love this. Combination. Right . Just eyeball it. Just drape it beautifully over this chicken. Get it underneath the skin but use that spoon to kind of get everything around. Looking good. Lift up the skin shove it everywhere. Im going to stick a whole garlic i sliced it in half. Stick this right in the cavity. Instead of trussing it which can be very complicated, im just going to tie the legs. Thats it. If you want to be kind of girly and silly, tie it in a bow or get creative. Anything fancy. So this goes in the oven you put it in the cast iron skillet. The best kitchen tool you ever need. 45 50 minutes. 165 internal temperature. Beautiful, delicious. You can take a bite. Mm. Yeah. Tons of flavor. Its wonderful. This is delicious. I love it. And i love the crispy salt. Well take that one. Next making a pesto but not a traditional basin pine nut pesto. Fava beans and walnuts. They are kind of these fairy tale looking bean. They come in this beautiful pod. When what you do is blanch them for a couple plnts. They minutes. This skin comes off. Walnuts are cheaper, more economical than pine nuts. Heart healthy. Less oil. Make the pesto the same way. Top with a little Parmesan Cheese because everything tastes better with cheese. Fresh mint. I love it. Delicious. Then lemon poppy seed. This always makes me think of my aunt sara who made lemon poppyseed cake. I have a girl crush on anything lemon poppyseed. My lemons are a cross between a mandarin orange and a lemon so theyre a little sweeter. This cake is light. One bowl it uses oil instead of butter. I need an Olive Oil Cake for new years this year.
