When you went to a huge event, reporters are lined up there is one like this close and each person as soon as 6 00 hits, everyone gets cued at the same time and it is like this cacophony, everybody starts talking at the same time. You got to keep thinking about what you very hard not to repeat what the person next to you there was a fire. There was a fire. Im, like, oh, my god, im saying what she was saying. Youre thinking, theyre better than i am. How did they get that info. I didnt know they caught the guy. Theyre literally two inches away. Do you ever stop in the middle and go, they did . Where did they get him . Who was it . They pull out and show there are tons of reporters all standing there. Do you miss it, hoda, at all . Be honest . Are you happy with me . Do you miss the fires and the murders and things . I didnt in the beginning think i would miss all of it. Since not covering tragedy and scary things, i feel happier and maybe it is because im ignorant. Maybe im just like i it is more fun not to go deep on sad things and, look, i had my share of sad things, i covered them, lived through them, but there is something nice about making people feel better instead of telling them things that are going to make them feel depressed. Well, cassie was 14 years old when she first started having trouble with her eyes. A brain scan revealed she suffered a stroke which caused permanent loss of her peripheral vision. Doctors speculated the stroke had been caused by a genetic disorder that made her prone to blood clots. After further testing and a brief hospital stay, cassie was able to return home.
