The buildings developer released this statement a short time ago theyre being evaluated by engineers to bring it back to level. No injuries or damage has been reported. The developer is also reiterating the 2,000 pound slab of concrete is not in any danger of falling. Firefighters have evacuated 16 buildings in the area, no word when they will be allowed to return to work the Construction Company bringing in experts, including one from Washington State to figure out how to stabilize this situation and right this structure. And the general contractor thats building the structure, we reviewed osha inspection records for the past decade, they have nearly 40 violations at projects across the country. Osha cited the company for workplace violations at a structure in new york city. A building caught fire and killed two people, theyre one of the largest general contractors in the country so its unclear if that number of violations is considered high for a company that large.
