This morning on the powell street off ramp of i80 east in emeryville. The suspect shooting another driver several times, including a gunshot wound to the head. That driver currently in critical condition. According to chp, this marks the 36th east bay freeway shooting since november. Its led to highway cameras being installed along highway 4 in pitsburg which saw a series of shootings six months ago. Chp believes a majority of the shootings are targeted or gangrelated, leaving some drivers wondering if its safe to use these freeways at all. I dont really have any concern about it. Theyre not going to want to swim mere. Theyll want to go where you have a 50meter pool. The city is spending 6 million to revitalize the 44yearold facility, which includes a family recreational pool and a 25meter pool. But it doesnt have the funds to rebuild the entire 50 meters. They have so much invested in the outcome that were asking them to step up to the plate and help raise funds. Going to hurt the ability to teach lessons in the city of walnut creek. The coach also runs the walnut creek aquatic foundation. He says swimmers also generate about 200,000 in revenue a year. But they dont have the 3 million needed for a new 50meter pool. Swimmers say they will start fundraising to try and come up with that 3 million as soon as possible. But they say its going to be difficult. The reason why temperatures are starting to feel more comfortable is a storm track is just off to the north. But once we hit thursdays forecast, storm track lowers right on top of San Francisco. Well have a weak storm system starting to move on in and that will help temperatures to drop each a few more degrees again by thursday. For San Francisco, you can see the result of that weaker storm system. Go from an average of 66 on tuesday, down to 62 on thursday. Well keep the trend of 60s right throughout next mondays forecast. For the interior valleys, its a little bit more dramatic. An average of 90 on tuesday, 91 on wechblts by thursday, with that weaker storm system moving in, 84 degrees. No 90s coming back. No 100s.
