Reporter the woman who filed the lawsuit quit last summer saying it was no longer healthy for her to work there. And now shes speaking out in hopes of helping out other people in a similar situation. Reporter but she says that image is drastically different from what she experienced at work last summer. I was very anxious about coming into work. It was really hard for me to get out of bed in the morning and motivate myself to enter into that environment. Reporter she filed a lawsuit against the company, claiming harassment, retaliation, and negligence. She says several coworkers made repeated, unwanted sexual advances and used homophobic slurs. Some members of the superior Court Professional Employees Association got a head start on public actions against court management. The 330 members have authorized a strike and after contract talks broke down, groups were going to prepare today for future labor actions. But some couldnt wait and took to the streets. Hes autistic, he has a knife, barricaded himself in the garage, and weve been talking to him all night to get him to put the knife down and surrender so we can get him some help. Reporter police say the boy had an argument with his parents. Several bomb squad teams and more than 20 officers stayed up all night trying to help the boy. A robot sent to check in on him brought him out, but he wouldnt drop the knife. Finally, more than 16 hours after it started, a bean bag gun was used twice. And officers were able to get the boy into an ambulance. A Police Spokesperson says this is a good outcome. Neighbors say theyre grateful to the Police Investigators and are thinking of the family.
