Reporter at this point, the Fire Department isnt saying anything about it. Sources do tell us that one of the paramedics could be fired and now is under investigation. The two paramedics worked out of station 49 in the bay view district. And were told thisj  happened sometime in the last few months. More sources say two paramedics picked up a woman when they were out driving in an ambulance. One of the men had sex with her in the back of the ambulance while the other one drove. The investigation began after someone filed a formal complaint with the department. Its unclear who filed that complaint. Today a spokesperson with the Department Said they would not be commenting on any personnel matters. We have reached out to the accused firefighter, but didnt hear back. In the south bay, San Jose Police arrested two men accused of robbing more than a dozen Street Vendors at gunpoint. Police say 19yearold Richard Lopez and 24yearold Michelangelo Lopez targeted at least 13 Street Vendors in East San Jose since july 30th. Several victims reported being beaten. The suspects stole money, food and cell phones. Robert handa broke this story and will have much more tonight on nbc bay area news at 6 00. A san jose teenager was back in court today, and he showed no signs of remorse. Hes accused of beating and robbing an 88yearold woman. Zachary clune never made eye contact with the victims family during this court hearing. Police say he viciously attacked flo douglas last week and ransacked her home and stole her car. The 88yearold remains in the intensive care unit, but her family says shes now conscious and able to talk just a bit. What he did was heinous, and he needs to pay for his crime. So we are asking everyone that loves her to wear a green ribbon until she comes home. The charges against clune include attempted murder. Hell return to court in november to enter a formal plea. A teenaged boy now faces the prospect of nearly 40 years in prison after agreeing to a plea deal in a brutal east bay rape case. Darrion miles jr. In february of 2014 then 17yearold darrion miles jr. Of ability okay was accused of raping a pizza delivery woman. He was prosecuted as an adult. There were a charge or two that carried potential life imprisonment sentences but he opted to the other charges so he could get 38 years in prison. Reporter he wore a monitoring device at the time of the attack. In court today, he responded yes or no to the questions he was asked. A statement was read on behalf of the victims father, saying in part, the brutal and premeditated crime against my daughter is something no woman should have to endure. Just horrible set of facts. And the terrible thing to happen. We are so proud, though, of the survivor in this case. She showed tremendous courage. Reporter now we did reach out to darren miles attorney for comment. But so far have not heard back. Reporting live in martinez, christie smith, nbc bay area news. A wild scene on the san mateo bridge last night. A chase, crash and stolen police car. Today the suspects mother blames a mental breakdown. Of this was the backup last night after the police car crashed into three other cars right there on the bridge. It started a few miles away when jeffrey chambers of hayward was involved in another crash near his home. But when firefighters were giving him first aid, they say he hopped in a nearby hayward patrol car and took off. Chambers mother says she tried to get him help yesterday, but police say he didnt meet the criteria. Hes a nice kid. He has a great job. He works for a family business. He he has a little 9monthold daughter he loves more than life itself. She says her son had an emotional episode years ago, but has been fine ever since. Police acknowledge chambers was not under the influence. Hes charged with car theft, evading arrest and hit and run. In San Francisco, a firefighter was injured after part of a burning home fell on top of him. A neighbor shot this video this morning, it shows smoke pouring out of a threestory victorian. The injured firefighter is expected to be released from the hospital today. Now later today, the fire did displace eight people. Investigators are still looking into the cause. Today five to ten degrees warmer than the same time yesterday and as High Pressure strengthens tomorrow, we tack on another 10 to 15 degrees of warming, which means now bay area wide, even out to the coast, that heat advisory for the end of the weekend, hottest temperatures coming up sunday into monday around the inner bay. That means we could see some low 90s and for the valley as hot as 105 degrees on monday. So fire danger, air quality issues, and bigtime heat coming up. We have chilling video made public today by the wife of a North Carolina man shot to death by police. We have to warn you, some parts of the video may be disturbing to watch. The sonoma marin area rail transit authority, or smart, is considering banning cell phone use as part of its code of conduct policy. The general manager says they are trying to make sure all riders can have a positive and enjoyable experience. The board of directors would have to approve this ban. There is no other Public Transportation system in the country that enforces a cell phone ban. Another twist in the president ial race. In a long statement on facebook, senator cruz said his1li decis came after many months of careful consideration and prayer. He also said Hillary Clinton is unfit to be president , and that trump is the only thing standing in her way. Come tomorrow, were looking at numbers into the 90s, including around san jose. San francisco, youll notice here, your hourbyhour forecast going into the mid 70s passing noon. Upper 70s by 1 00 in the afternoon. You notice the average high in San Francisco, only 70 degrees. 11 00 tomorrow morning on our way to upper 80s in the forecast around downtown san jose and low 90s south of downtown tomorrow. Notice San Francisco, upper 70s. Peninsula temperatures, mid to upper 80s. San mateo down to palo alto. Numbers soaring into the low to mid 90s. Walnut creek, 95 degrees. Oakland, 85 degrees. And thats saturday. Now lets show you the two hottest days out of the next seven. Sundays high temperatures now closing in on 100 degrees there out by livermore. 95 in san jose. And as we move forward now into monday, you see the forecast there, concord could get close to 103 degrees. Still in the 80s in San Francisco. Close to 90 in oakland. Thats the reason why from sunday into monday, heat advisory up. Could have a spare the air day issued for monday. Sevenday forecast, going on a little bit of a roller coaster ride here. Hot temperatures for San Francisco. Mid to upper 80s. Closing in on records there on sunday and staying in the 80s until monday. Tuesday and wednesday we begin to see some of that cooling. For the valleys, we see temperatures peak, we think, on monday. You see upper 90s in the forecast for sunday and then staying in the 90s on tuesday. And then things do start to cool down as we head towards wednesday and thursday. So a very interesting change. 20 degrees of separation between monday and friday. Because we could see a major pattern shift showing up late next week. So, yes, the heat will be the big story between now and about tuesday. Then thursday and friday, this system starts to drop in on us, and it looks like as we head towards the end of next week, not only do we get cooler temperatures, but look at that, rain closer to the bay area. Not in the forecast right now. Thats going to bring some heat relief towards the end of the week. But in the meantime tomorrow low 90s, upper 90s to near 100 degrees sunday to monday and boy, summerlike temperatures through about tuesday before everything changes again.
