Firefighters are now looking into the cause of the twoalarm fire. They were able to contain the flame so they didnt spread to the adjacent homes. The family was not home when the fire broke out. They tell me they were out doing errands and saw the smoke, but had no idea that it was coming from their hoes. Right now, they are boarding up their home, taking their belongings out of the garage and they will have to find somewhere else to spend the night tonight. Thanks so much. Investigators are still working to determine what caused this fire. This in east san jose. Ka caused a scare for people in the area. It broke out about at 5 00 yesterday just in the foothills off of sierra road and felter road. The mountain filled with smoke. Neighbors say a lot of young people go to the area since the parking lot was recently installed in the park. Firefighters quickly got on top of the situation. You see them dropping retardant on the flames. 100 acres were burned. No homes evacuated and no injuries to report. The monterrey county Sheriffs Department issued more evacuation orders today. Tonight the coroner identified the man killed after falling near 100 feet down the embankment. 28yearold Vincent Holland of merced died yesterday. Holland did have a female companion with him at the time of the accident. She also had to be rescued, but was not seriously injured. The fact that a Family Member may find an old paper receipt does not mean the certificate of deposit is still open. Theres got to be something, somewhere, that ties to this number. A spokesman told us that dormant or abandoned cd balances are supposed to be transferred to the states unclaimed property repository, but wells fargo found no record.
