We should say thank you to somebody for this fantastic happy easter weather. Absolutely. Somebody very happy about todays forecast here. The easter bunny. We had temperatures in the 70s and 80s outside, and an interesting spread of temperatures, almost more typical that you would find in july. You got 70s and 80s inland and right now as we take you out to the east bay, that view from dublin shows you 80 degrees, and as that warm air rises, it creates a vacuum effect. So what replaces it is the cool sea breeze that comes in from San Francisco. So right now you see that sea breeze cranking up. Temperatures continuing to drop down to the mid60s and eventually we will see low clouds returning to the bay. Signs of a cooler day ahead for tomorrow that could end with a chance of seeing showers. Right now still much warmer than 24 hours ago. The 24hour temperature change, areas inland as much as 15 degrees warmer than yesterday. We had High Pressure over the bay yarea and it compressed. Toasty temperatures inland today. Youre about to see a big cool down. The first stage of the cool down will be the sea breeze which is firing up right now. It will be an allday event during the day tomorrow wihich will help drop down the temperatures. 60s and 70s for tomorrow. Not a particularly strong system but one that will cross the coast during the day tomorrow bringing the temperatures down, breezy conditions, and a chance at least for the north bay of seeing some showers arriving late. During the day tomorrow mostly cloudy skies. The opposite of what we saw today and perhaps a few sprinkles at times, but the main event with this first system should come in for monday night into early tuesday, and then after that its pretty much out of here. You can see the rainfall totals out of the first system enough to wet the ground in a few spots. Generally were expecting less than a 0. 1 of an inch of rain out of the first system. The next one though, pretty interesting. Friday into saturday, you can see heavier bursts of rain, especially late friday into saturday. More showers to follow as we get into saturday and sunday. So the protections for this Second System as we finish the week and head into next weekend starting to look better. The numbers keep changing. An hour ago the model run had us at a half inch. Now perhaps as much as an inch for San Francisco. If we can get about 0. 4 of an inch of rain, we can finally go above average for rainfall for a month. We could get this for this month if those rainfall totals come in for friday and saturday which would be welcome news with the drought as the backdrop around the state. Temperatures tomorrow much cooler. Out of the 80s into the low 70s in san jose. Mid60s around the peninsula. Low 60s in San Francisco and the trivalley seeing temperatures in the low 70s. A chance of showers and lets jump ahead to that friday to next weekend forecast. Plan on keeping the umbrella on stand by later this week and look at the high temperatures. 50s and 60s. So thats good news. Sierra locations, its hard to believe, but if we get a half inch to an inch of rain, temperatures like that, perhaps more than a foot of snow could hit the sierra friday into saturday. Good news for the drought. Back to you. All right. Thank you, rob. Coming up, a look at easter celebrations here and around the world. Also the sweet twist to an Easter Egg Hunt in the bay area. But a south bay Amusement Park decided to do something different. It was a Charlie Brown easter at Great America today. Snoopy also showed up for the easter eggstravaganza. Organizers say thousands of families showed up and they couldnt have asked for better weather. Snoopys ears were up to look like a bunny. Sort of interesting. Some people trying to pick up fast food in lightnios angel ended up with sticker shock. People were mistaken think charged thousands of dollars. One customer said he was charged more than 4,000 for three tacos. But they were really good. Really good. They were really good. The cause of the error is st
