Now that the sevenday forecast is coming up at the bottom of the hour, we started in San Francisco. We are going to see some rain by the end of the week. And we are here on tuesday, and we are already talking about it because its been so dry. We have had such beautiful weather. And i know its a lot of hard feelings out there, but we are looking at a high for today up to 79 degrees. It is very nice and warm. Still cool along the coast, 63 degrees at halfmoon bay in San Francisco. And then well start to see the clouds moving in. So i think today will be the last day of just fullon sunshine before these clouds start to roll in. And the rain will hold off until thursday. And it will take its time making its way through the bay area. Here we are on thursday afternoon. Dry until then, once again, and then we start to see the rain moving inland, starting out with light showers becoming heavier late thursday night into early friday morning. Friday mornings commute looks really tough. Even the evening commute will be very slow because of the widespread rain still falling throughout the day. And we may have some standing water at that point. The potential of some flooding after several hours of some rainfalling across the bay area. And then look at saturday, even during the evening, we may still have some rain here. And some snow in the sierra. Sunday looks dry and then another quick round of rain moving through on monday. So its about to get really busy here after being able to relax and get some sunshine and warm temperatures. This model shows how much rain we can see. And we have the potential of getting over an inch of rain for much of the north bay, at least an inch and a quarter. And then you head across the east bay, the peninsula, as well as the south bay, about a half inch to three quarters of an in inch. And we will see more of that in if santa cruz mountains. We are looking at. 75 to an inh for most of us. We could see some wind gusts 15 to 40 Miles Per Hour that could bring down trees. And also some street flooding when the rain begins to fall, but no major river flooding expected as the reservoirs are still very low. Heres a look right now at kirkwood.
