Police say an elderly woman was trying to park in front of the gym in one of the parking spots when she had pedal confusion, meaning she hit the gas instead of the brake. She drove her mercedes suv 60 feet into the gym where there was a fitness class going on. Everyone who was injured was in that clasp this happened lifestyle in livermore. Five were treated and released from the hospital with moderate injuries, and one woman was killed, 49yearold woman from livermore, her name has not been released today. Investigators say a suspect killed by Alameda County deputies this morning carjacked and shot someone earlier in the night. Deputies started chasing that suspect after that suspect allegedly carjacked someone in oakland. They say he tried to car jack a second person near 238 and east 14th street in san leandro but unsuccessful. He reportedly fired at deputies who shot back killing that man. The carjacking vuk tim was taken to the hospital. Their condition is unknown. Developing story, victim of the valley fire, anxiously awaiting more help as those communities move into more of a recovery mode. Firefighters stopped the spread of the fire more than a thousand homes, though, are gone. Right now, hundreds of people still living in tents, waiting for that next step. Reporter thats right. This is a case of two families suing the family of a diagnosed autistic boy in sunnyvale, claiming his behavior was a public nuisance. A physical threat to the safety of their children and parents of the autistic boy didnt do enough to control him. The judge in the case put the lawsuit on hold and got both sides to agree to meet with a dispute resolution judge next month. Thats similar to mediation. Reporter after court, parents of the autistic boy accused of assaulting neighborhood children wanted to say little. We are glad the judge ordered the conference. Thank you very much.
