Charlie Linville<\/a> lost his right leg and several fingers in an explosion in afghanistan. He has been using a prosthetic leg with specialized attachments for hiking and ice climbing. Linville works with the heroes project, a nonprofit that helps wounded veterans. It became something for me to show people that my brothers and myself are capable of doing anything that anybody else is doing, you know. It might be more of a challenge in the beginning, but were still just as strong as everybody else. So dont pity us. Or stronger incredible resilience there.
