Jeff ranieri is back with us now. When does it come . Tomorrow, we still have a few hours before it gets here, i really think by tomorrow night things will ramp up, were looking at good chances of rainfall over the next three days. I want to let folks know who live near the Russian River where there was major flooding well track it closely for you. What you see here it looks look it will stay below flood stage saturday night 21 feet, but if the storm system is here longer than expected it could get closer to flood stage. So well track it closely through the upcoming weekend. Now the reason why we have flooding concerns is a storm system will get here on wednesday but stays through fridays forecast. Then there will be a second possible forecast by saturday, all the way into monday. More on that in a moment. Tomorrow, cloud cover increasing that will be the big thing for us, cool side, 44 trivalley, 46 in the south bay, potential drizzle and also San Francisco to start in the east bay at 49, so as you take it through the micro climate forecast on thursday what you notice here in the bay area, temperatures in the low 60s, excuse me on wednesday, 60 for east san jose, throughout the east bay, coming through with 59, 50 in danville, 60 expected for hayward. Winds building, in San Francisco, 59 along the embarcadero, and similar temperatures for the marina, you will also find across the north bay upper 50s across the board from santa rosa all the way down towards mill valley. Lets take you into the rain time line, we really do not expect to accumulate rainfall until about 6 30 tomorrow night. We should say that all the forecast models are continuing to align with this storm system coming our way. Were not seeing any consistencies that we would not get any rainfall at all. So again expect rainfall to start tomorrow night scattered in nature but really the first round of heavier rainfall once we hit thursday at 5 00 a. M. And that is going to likely continue throughout thursday morning with rain possible even into friday. So wednesday night, thursday and friday rainfall with our storm system. And totals really on track with what we have been seeing. For most of the bay area youre in this red to orange color which is 3 4 of an inch to possibly one and a half inches, then here in the purple area from santa rosa to gurnville, quite a bit of rainfall in that period, this could mean two to three feet of snow at the summit levels throughout the sierra. So treacherous levels if youre heading there. As we look into saturdays forecast, a small break, by sunday night into monday that is when that second storm system arrives, that is why well continue to watch out for a potential here of some river flooding. So we had it really bad in january, it looks like this round of rain will give us quite a bit of rain. We had some time to dry out. So i dont think things will be as bad. A storm by storm basis here as we get through the next sevenday forecast. All this rain we have had. Tomorrow is february 1st. We still have a lot of winter to go, thank you, jeff.
