continues to pound the bahamas as it sets its sights on the east coast. The category 4 pounded with winds in the eastern bahamass today. There were no reports of major damage. could be impacted by joaquin. Lets bring in our chief meteorologist jeff ranieri, i think one of the most tricky things for the meteorologists is the timing, when it will come on shore. There were admittedly a lot of changes over the past four hours, that is really something you tend to get when it comes to hurricanes. There is never really the exact location, when it makes landfall. There is always that cone of uncertainty. It is on top of the bahamas, there is the eye of the storm, the bahamas island change. It is remarkable nobody has died from the storm system. Considering how strong and powerful it is. The other thing were tracking is the sheer size of this storm system stretching over 595 miles. That is why this system is so dangerous. So lets go ahead and get a look at the
Current Conditions
of the storm right now. Winds at 130

But again it will be the rainfall, anywhere from three to six inches possible. Isolated amounts of ten inches and or higher. So flooding again will be the biggest threat over the next five days. Lets take you to our forecast back here at home. It will be a lot calmer outside and also cooler. You can see the start in the north bay at 53 degrees. South bay, beginning at 58. Now, we did have the storm system today. Isolated thunderstorms back in the east bay. But the cooler that storm system is, well across nevada. Not a problem to us anymore. Lets take you to the forecast as we head throughout your friday and well start off with fog in the morning and then sun by the afternoon. Saturdays forecast also looks great.
