Reporter her feelings culminated november 15 with this fight. It happened during lunch after she says several other students had been bullying her for two years. It went to a point where i had all these emotions on me and it came to a point where i wanted to hurt myself. Reporter just ten days after that night, the District Attorney charged the sophomore with misdemeanor battery. Today, prosecutors would not explain why. I cannot discuss anything about any juvenile matter without a court order. Reporter that silence leaves even the School Board President with questions. Whats the precedent that this sets . Is this going to happen any time somebody is in a video clip . Are we going to be focused on students at a high school . I think it sounds a wrong message to kids at school. Somebody like jewels, who has been a victim of bullying and intolerance, is now being further victimized by having to go through the court system. The heart of the storm is going to get a little closer to the bay area and that should help to hold this up a little longer.
