They came out in the Second Period with a lot more energy to their game. They had to kill off the two early penalties in the first period. Pekka rinne had a lot to do with that. And you talk about just a gutsy effort. To come back there. And that is what they have done. Kenny subban to the box. As he roughed up thompson. Another key moment in the game that will be talked about, i am sure, by the ducks. Manson highsticked late in the Second Period that was not called. Later in the same shift he crosschecked forsberg. They were. Obviously you are going to have frustrated guys here in a situation like that. But i thought that the officials did a really nice job of handling that. Well, obviously really important players for us down the middle. Mike, being our captain. Joey is having a great season. Great postseason. Obviously a little bit of adversity for us but honestly i think that things have gone smoothly for us this postseason. You know, i think that for us as a group, i think this is something that, you know, if we want to go all of the way we have to come through this and respond really well. The guys played a great game. You have to be the backbone of the hockey club. You hear they are out. How much of the responsibility did you take it upon yourself to be very good in todays game . I think that any time going into the game you want to be a difference maker. But it felt good. I knew that i had to be good if we want to win this game. You know, there has been a couple of games i havent been happy after the game. You dont want regrets when you look at the mirror at the end of the game. Very happy right now. Nbc sky ranger over the scene at daly city station. You can see the two cars there skidded off the rails. The workers are on the tracks trying to figure out what happened. As you can imagine, this has caused systemwide delays. Nbc bay areas sergio is here with more. Reporter you can see there are b. A. R. T. Workers right now, theyre cutting apart some of that damaged rail. The passengers aboard the train say the train had left the station, it started bucking like a bronco, and the whole train came to a halt, coming to rest three feet off the rails. Passenger charles wong was aboard one of the cars that jumped the tracks. Boom, boom, many times. Reporter thats how he described the train as it bucked and rattled and came to a stop. All i know, it was bumpy, i looked to my right and it was all smoky. Reporter what did you think when you saw the smoke . I scared. I scared. Reporter riders were evacuated from the train and walked back to the daly city station. A train stopped near the derailment. Did you see passengers get on to that train from yours . S . They were hovered over by emergency personnel. Reporter none of the passengers aboard were injured. At this point it looks like these bart workers have a lot of work ahead of them this evening. They not only have to take the train off the tracks, they also have to make repairs to those tracks. That Means Service through here is going to be pretty limited. Were told a toddler abducted yesterday in San Francisco is about to reunite with his mother any minute now. Police issued an amber alert yesterday afternoon after the 21yearold was caught. The boy was not hurt. Well have more at 11 00. Pleasanton police are investigating a deadly officerinvolved shooting. This is where the investigation conditions at this hour. Our robert handa has more. Reporter Pleasanton Police are being meticulous about this officerinvolved shooting that started with a family disturbance inside a home. The sight of the Coroners Office arriving sent a shudder to those in the homes surrounding the home where the shooting took place. A disturbance was reported in a home on burgundy drive. The male walked towards the officers, holding a firearm and pointing it in their direction. In response, one of our officers fired his duty weapon, hitting the substantiaject. Reporter police say the man died at the scene but have not released any other details. I do know some people who live along the road. Its possible. But i dont know who it is yet. Reporter its got to be a little scary. Thats exactly what i thought when i drove up. Reporter some neighbors told us they heard three or four gunshots in a row, a pause, then couple of more. Thank you, robert. Two friends who set off for a short swim at San Franciscos china beach had to be rescued this morning. The coast guard sent us these images shortly after getting the two to safety. The trouble started about 8 00 a. M. When the two men tried to swim to nearby rocks. One man lost sight of his friend, and called 911. The coast guard responded with a boat and found the missing man on the rocks. Both men were treated for hyp hyperhypothermia. Now to the middle east. President trumps first trip overseas is under way. He received an enthusiastic welcome in saudi arabia, including a Gold Medal Ceremony which is the countrys highest civilian honor. Notice the subtle change, low clouds and patchy fog for the morning. All day now well see the low clouds begin to thicken up. That will lead to significant cooling monday into tuesday. The high is the driver of the summerlike weather. A summersized ridge of High Pressure building from san diego to seattle. That will start to weaken and get cut off and slide off to the west. In its place, tuesday, wednesday and thursday well see a trough of low pressure begin to carve out on the coast. Well see a significant drop in temperatures once we pass the middle part of the week.
