A sheriffs deputy tried to stop a car at a Fort Collins Motel that had fake plates, and as deputies tried to get information, the woman driver and passenger took off, the chase nearing 100 miles an hour. They were also throwing something out of the window. Deputies threw out stop sticks. The only reason they came to a stop, he had to ram the front of the vehicle to stop the vehicle from taking off again. Loveland, both were taken to the hospital. Deputies say both the man and woman had warrants out for their arrest and theyll be headed to jail when theyre released from the hospital. Brighton police are looking for a man they believe is responsible for stealing guns from an officers home. They believe hes homelesssof staying with friends in denver. If you see him, call police. He may be armed and dangerous. This man is being held n 50,000 bond this morning. Denver police say he drugged and sexually assaulted a woman he met at a bar. The wooan says she got up to use the bathroom and the next thing she remembers is getting help boarding the light rail. She says it wasnt until the next morning she realized something happened. Dna collected matched the suspect, who has a rap sheet drugs. Police are still looking for two suspects who smashed into a Marijuana Dispensary wearing monkey masks. Police seerched the area around best meds of colorado but werent able to find the suspects. A sheriffs deputy finds himself on the other side of the law. Police arrested bob trujillo on suspicion of assault and domestic violence. He is on administrative leave while the case is being investigated. Several deputies have been in trouble over the last year. In february 2015 a deputy was investigated for perjury. In october another was fired for Sexual Misconduct on the job. The da didnt file charges in that case but a month later, another deputy indicted for in december a deputy was accused of Sexual Exploitation of a child. Denver is trying to clear out the large homeless camps 3 ironically right near the rescue mission. There are more people with belongings cluttering the sidewalks a spokesperson says they have offered services to People Living on the street and they have refused. We know its not a popular action but its necessary. We agree with the city that its not sustainable to have folks on the street forever. Monday the city will put up eviction notices, telling people they have to go or face arrest. Tuesday they will start enforcing the rule. This will push people to seek help. Both suspects were taken to the hospital, no deputies injured. Police are looking for this man who they say stole guns from an officers home. The number of homeless camps near the samaritan house downtown has been growing since the shelter opened last year but the city is telling people to leave or face arrest.
