This couple that was killed over the weekend, each of them tight science at those two schools respectively. Its expected fb a tough morning for faculty staff and students at, again, those two high schools. This crash happened on i25 on friday night. Jared and genevive were driving with their twoyearold child in the backseat. According to Colorado State patrol, the car veered then both jared and genevive were ejected and pronounced dead at the scene. The twoyearold child was not hurt but both of the parents were unfortunately killed here in this crash. Again, grief counselors will be at Loveland High School where jared was a Science Teacher as well as a football coach. As well as fort collins where she was a Science Teacher as well. They say he is a skinny hhspanic man in his late teens early twenties. They say he has dark hair, wears glasses, and also wears a gold hoop nose ring. Sedan is what police tell us. Now, theres an outpouring of support and love for haley through facebook this morning and throughout the weekend as news kind of came to her family and friends. Yeah, katie, this is just north of i70 right here on federal, like you said, right at 50th avenue. The scene behind me, you can see this white car. Pedestrian. Shes a female driver. Shes a little shaken upright now. She did stay on scene. You see the police haae the left turn lane to go west on 50th closed right now. But as for north and southbound traffic, its not too bad right now. They have not closed it off. Its just one lane northbound on federal here that the police are now shutting down. We got here so quick right after the accident that theyre sending out the accident investigators for this. Now, the person who got hit is listed in very se they were transported to a hospital, and were not sure the status, other than serious injuries right now, but they are ruling this as an accident, and it looks like where the person was hit, it was not in a crosswalk. It was probably about 30 to 50 feet before the intersection. Most people know youre supposed to use that crosswalk, and if you dont, this is what can happen out here.
