displayed a gun and demanded money.the worker handed over his wallet and the suspect ran away.police say they have surveillance video of the incident from a neighboring business... an are looking for the suspect. 3 it's not all doom and gloom tonight... we've got some *good news* from one woodbury county business.ag processors inc of sergeant bluff is planning *another* multi-million dollar expansion.our jaclyn driscoll joins us now...jaclyn, what's the company planning. 3 3 diana... a-g-p received a unanimous go ahead from the board for their second expansion in less than a year. 3 a-g-p is adding a 38 million dollar biodiesel facility. this will double the capacity of biodiesel fuel from 30 million to 60 million gallons per year... increasing the demand for soybeans. this demand, as well as the plant farmers. 3 "agp is currently owned by 165 local cooperatives, which in turn are owned by 250 thousand farmers throughout the makes as a regional coop gets passed back to those local coops and back to the local farmers. 3 woodbury county did agree to a tax abatement schedule of up to about 5 million dollars... meaning the company will not have to pay taxes on the new addition for 6 years. 3 "they are doing a value added process which means it's not being shipped somewhere else to be processed so we benefit from the farmer raising the crops, as well as processing it into a usable product which is sold all over the world. 3 construction of the first expansion is already in process... 3 3 both projects are set to be complete in 2017 and will add 23 full time jobs. 3 3 what neighborhood residents are calling "thrill hill" on 25th street claimed two lives earlier this month... and injured another. 3 concerned citizens want something done to prevent any further accidents. they have started a petition to close fatal accident. sioux city police say they are aware of the issue and are considering all options. 3 "i know they'll listen to the neighborhood input. what do you want to do? you living in that neighborhood might be inconvenienced by the closure of this street, but you're living there. i think the city will do whatever it can to address their concerns. 3 residents have also started a gofundme account for the mother who was injured in the accident earlier this month to cover medical expenses. if you would like to donate, we have a link in this story on our website siouxland news dot com. 3 it was standing room only at briar cliff this morning to see senator ted cruz speak.the republican presidential candidate had a lot to say the crowd of about 120 people. he laid out his plans to abolish the i - r - s and simplify the tax code if he's elected. and after the paris terror attacks... the texas senator calls any plans the united state *lunacy.* 3 "i am leading the fight in the senate to stop president obama and hillary clinton's plan to bring to america tens of thousands of syrian muslim refugees. why? if you're noticing these teams were great at volleyball this year too that's acurate.and in 1a george little rock is at 10th. newell fonda at 6. kingsley pierson is ranked number 4. 3 if you tuned in to see if western christian and spirit lake succeeded in their bid for state champions in football today ... you're going to have to wait through the weekend to find out. the games were postponed due to weather and will be played at their regularly scheduled times. it also means we won't get to air them on our sister station kpth, which we're really bummed about. not our decision, it's a logistics one made by the ihsaa. they will however be streamed live via webcam. 3 in college volleyball tonight at the summit league tournament a huge win for the coyotes. they go to a fifth set and win 15-10 to defeat norht dakota state 3-2. they move on to the semifinals of that tournament. 3 hey check you out morningside! with the fall sports season complete the mustangs are currently leading the gpac all- sports standings where they combine the success of all 19 sports teams. 6 of the team's seasons are considered closed, playoffs not withstanding and morningside is in first with 51 and a half points. northwestern is nipping at their heels in third place at 49 points. dordt is in 7th with 41 points and briar cliff is 9th out of 12 with 28 points. 3 iowa is the second ranked wrestling squad in the country taking on maryland earlier today. 1) this is thomas gilman in the 125 pound match and he's going to get a pretty nice reversal here for the takedown. the ref gives him credit.2) then corey clark took to the mat and this is a sweet pin! iowa was cruising early in this one.3) then brandon sorensen picks his opponent up for another takedown!4) in the 174 pound division alex meyer with the takedown. 5) and this is my favorite sammy brooks gets the pin from the standing position!
