of high pressure will build over the west much of this week bringing dry conditions and a gradual warming trend. expect a pretty quiet weather pattern into the weekend. regarding the northerly winds...expect the wind to blow near or just above lake wind advisory levels...but all criteria. expect breezy conditions to persist through early afternoon with probably a slow downward trend by late afternoon. a pacific storm will bring the potential for unsettled weather to much of the region late in the coming weekend. the medium range models continue to indicate the potential for an across the forecast area from north to south saturday through monday. confidence in impacts is low at this point due to disagreement among the models with respect to precipitation and other details. they wouldn't' tell us)) the ohio town going through a water crisis similar to flint... and what state officials want to be done about it... < criminal investigation... after the operator of a water treatment plant in northeast ohio failed to notify the public that they may be drinking dangerous water. it's similar to the water problems plaguing flint michigan. brian webb reports: < bottled water and lead testing kits poured into sebring, ohio after residents were notified that their water may not be safe to drink. ( lyn davis / sebring resident ) "i don't understand why they wouldn't' tell us, so they could keep us from having to go through illnesses." officials copper were found in seven of 20 older homes during tests dating back to last summer. but it wasn't until last week that city officials issued a public notice warning children and pregnant women not to drink the water. ( state representative john boccieri ) obviously there's a notification issue. sebring's plant and distribution system are considered safe. but the slightly acidic water caused some pipes to leak the metals into the water supply. the head of ohio's epa has suspended the town's water plant manager from working at the treatment plant... saying he submitted "misleading, inaccurate or false reports."
