((patrick walker)) >> denise... we're talking about hemp. it contains negligible amounts of thc -- that's the chemical that "gets you high" when you consume cannabis. that's why the federal government is allowing states to license farmers to grow it. and we were the only ones invited along for a look at the first industrial hemp harvest in nevada. ((patrick walker)) this fertile four-acre field in pahrump... farmer: "oh yeah." for farmers in nevada. ((patrick walker)) this is one of 12 permitted industrial hemp grows in nevada. most are up north harvest... in part... was to see if the crop could survive 100-plus degree temperatures and direct exposure to the harsh desert summers. ((michelle mortensen)) join a gym and forget about it. that's what gyms hope you do... so you wrack up fees for a lifetime. nancy wyatt actually cancelled her membership back in 2005. except they kept charging her for it for 11 years. she didn't even notice the charges until one night a few weeks ago. so she asked me to get on her side and get her money back. an e-o-s fitness and didn't authorize that charge ... but her bank said she did. ((nancy: they said .. well, you've been getting charges this amount since 2005 )) ((michelle mortensen)) so she called e-o-s for answers.... but she says they didn't have any. ((nancy: so i wrote down the account number and sent an email to michelle mortensen because i knew it would be taken care of )) but i knew it was a long shot. legally ... she was only due 52 bucks because any fraud that's more than 60 days old on a bank account you're liable for. still i reached out to e-o-s on nancy's behalf ... within three days of calling them ... they cut her a check for more than 3 grand... paying her back for charge over 11 years.
