70 people have been formally arrested ... 630 others are being investigated. indian police busted the call centers after having a mole inside for months. and get this ... this scam was very profitable for these scammers. the police in india report they were making about 150 thousand dollars a day. now you may be wondering why i said you could still get one of these calls if this call center was busted ... and the answer is .. they weren't the only ones doing it. there have been other busts all year. department investigators filed criminal complaints in the u.s. against five individuals in three states, accusing them of fleecing nearly $2 million from more than 1,500 victims as part of the same scheme. ((mauricio marin)) >> some are calling them killer clowns. and the terrifying hoax has spread all around the valley where students are reporting clown sightings. it's not the first prank of it's kind c-c-s-d has dealt with in recent years. and just like in the past police like many people...diana poff enjoys a good scare every now and then. but online posts of scary clown sightings lately has her more concerned than spooked.
