According to the cdc, deaths from overdoses are reaching its peak. Look at these numbers. A total 259 million opioid prescriptions were written in 2012. And according to the National Safety council, 1. 9 million americans are addicted to the painkillers. This isnt a new issue. Since 2003 opioid abuse has been on the increase.
