When he rear ended a car trying to make a turn. But that wasnt the only death sunday. North Las Vegas Police say a 2yearold girl was killed crossing the street in front of her home. Van in near pecos and lake mead. The childs mother said the driver smelled the alcohol. And apologized before taking off. Police say both of these deaths could have prevented. If people took the time to stay safe behind the wheel officer Michael Rodriguez metro police we as the Police Department cannot do this alone. We need participation from everyone in our community. To understand that while this is a Police Problem this is a community problem. Its our family members, our moms our dads kids who are getting killed on our roadways and thats simply unacceptable.
