Now its downgraded to a typhoon which is the equivalent of a category 4 hurricane. Typhoon is just another name for a hurricane. Its a regional name. Cal fire crews are making progress in their efforts to contain a brushfire burning in lake county. The fire started shortly before 2 00 this afternoon. It is burning near lower lake south of Morgan Valley road and east of highway 29. Cal fire says its burned about 150 acres and at this point is 30 contained.
