>> 73 years old. >> ms. ross, whatever your secret is, we would like it, please, thank you. >> we're going to break it all down in the skinny a little later. but we want to get to the breaking news that we just got from southern california. the death of america's most notorious serial killer. >> the california department of corrections says charles manson has died of natural causes. manson, the creator of a chilling serial killer crime family terrorized los angeles in the summer of 1969 with the string of ritualistic murders. he along with several of his followers have been behind bars for 46 years. >> manson was denied parole some 12 times. he was up for parole again in the next five years or so. he was 83 years old. of course that breaking news just happening late last night california time. more breaking news now, a medical helicopter has crashed in the arkansas killing everyone on board. it happened in dewitt, arkansas, in a rural area. >> the sheriff's spokesman says the emergency responders had a hard time reaching the scene. once they arrived, he found the remains of three crew members and the helicopter engulfed in flames. the helicopter belonged to pafford ems. the company says it's devastated. in a post on its facebook page, no patients were on the aircraft. and federal investigators are heading to that scene. and also breaking overnight, an intense search under way for suspects polling the death of a border patrol agent in texas. >> the fbi has taken over this investigation and authorities are scouring the big bend area after the agent was killed and his partner seriously injured. president trump responded with a tweet saying we will seek out and bring to justice those responsible. we will and must build the wall. the president there reacting to that incident there on the border. and we turn now to the sexual misconduct allegations, rocking the country from hollywood to the halls of congress. >> actor jeffrey tambor says he doesn't see how he can return to the amazon series "transparent" after being accused of sexual harassment by two women, including a co-star. >> and senator al franken says he has no plans to step down amid the allegations of groping and kissing a woman without consent. >> alabama senate candidate roy moore is also refuse to go back down despite claims that he sexually assaulted underage girls, but his conservative base is sticking by him. marcus moore has the latest. >> reporter: the calls growing louder for roy moore to leave the senate race. 50 liberal pastors calling him unfit for office. >> there is nothing christian about the policies moore has supported. they are as terrible as the abuse he has so vehemently denied. >> reporter: moore has repeatedly denied allegations of sexually assaulting or acting inappropriately with at least eight women, some who were teenagers at the time. >> they not only are untrue, but they have no evidence to support them. >> reporter: a former co-worker of the 14 year old accuser claiming she told him of the incident years ago. >> she was deadly serious. and after she finished, the room was quiet. and i believed her. everyone believed her. and i'm only coming forward with the hopes that some of these other people who can substantiate her claim will come forward. >> reporter: alabama's largest newspaper becoming the third publication to endorse the democratic candidate doug jones. but the president is largely silent on the issue. >> should roy moore resign, mr. president?
