Im working on it no, no, look, hey, just so you understand, we had a totally divided country for eight years and long before that. In all fairness to president obama, long before president obama, we have had a very divided i didnt come along and divide this country. This country was seriously divided before i got here. And he insisted the leaks that supposed flynns dishonesty was the real problem. What is wrong was the way that other people, including yourself in this room, was given that information. Because that was classified information that was given illegally. Thats the real problem. Reporters had been summoned to the east wing of the white house expecting to hear about trumps new pick for labor secretary, replacing the fast food executive who withdrew in the wake of a scandal. You dont think you would have asked another reporter to set up a meeting like that . Well, you know, i dont think that he would have asked you to set up the meeting with the Congressional Black Caucus. That meeting, again, to address the innercities. Now, the caucus says that it sent the letter to the president last month expressing hope that he and its members would be able to Work Together but never received a response. The white house is now working to set up a meeting there. If it were a white reporter, would he have asked the same thing . I think he would have. I really do. I think al of people would say that he would have asked that question to any reporter. You can see, this is an unprecedented way to run a News Conference. This has been an unprecedented campaign. The rules are off and, you know, weve got to get used to the new reality. I give him props. All week long and for 28 days weve been saying hes only taking questions from conservative outlets. He took questions from a lot of outlets that he doesnt necessarily like yesterday. It does seem as if he was having fun. And he just stood out there. He seemed as if he was having fun.
