Theyve also asked for his fathers medical records after claims in court that Justin Ross Harris is deaf in his right ear and may not have heard his son still in the car that morning. Theres no evidence he had that knowledge, its not criminal negligence. Reporter 33yearold harris, in jail without bond this morning charged with murder and seconddegree child neglect. Hes pleaded not guilty. The boy died after more than seven hours in his silver suv parked outside his office on a 90degree day.
