The regions relationship to russia underlying many of the talks and ramping up the pressure for President Trump ahead of his friday sitdown with vladimir putin. I would say at this point its difficult to say exactly what the russias what russias intentions are in this relationship, and i think thats the most important part of this meeting is to have a Good Exchange between President Trump and president putin. One Senior Administration official says the whole thing could be a waste of time and, quote, a loser of a topic. Trade will also be a big topic of conversation on this trip. Security council, u. S. Ambassador nikki haley also warned that the u. S. Is prepared to use military force if necessary. This all comes after north koreas successful launch of its first intercontinental ballistic missile. In truth, it is not only the United States and our allies that are threatened, north koreas destabilizing escalation is a threat to all nations in the region and beyond. Their actions are quickly closing off the possibility of a diplomatic solution. Ambassador haley also said the u. S. Will propose new Security Council resolutions against north korea. Those could include restricting oil for their military programs and cutting off major sources of hard currency. And the Trump Administration is urging russia to cooperate with the u. S. To defeat isis and restore stability to syria. As the president prepares to meet with vladimir putin, secretary of state Rex Tillerson released a statement calling for the u. S. And russia to Work Together possibly on a nofly zone, ceasefires and the delivery of humanitarian aid. Congressman Steve Scalise has been readmitted to the intensive care unit at a washington, d. C. Hospital three weeks after being shot at during a baseball practice. He was moved back to icu over new concerns about infection. Hes now listed in serious condition. Scalise has had several surgeries since the shooting. The plan to repeal and replace obamacare is front and center this week for senators visiting their home districts. Some of those Holding Town Halls are running into angry protesters like these in harrisburg, pennsylvania, who are concerned they will lose access to health care. All of a sudden she says a passenger who was on the standby list arrived at the aisle with a ticket for her sons seat. Yamauchi says she was forced to hold her son on her lap for the 3 1 2hour flight seen in these photos crammed in the area. On wednesday united issued an apology to the mother telling abc news we inaccurately scanned the boarding pass of ms. Yamauchis son.
