Developing news overseas, new details about the airliner that crashed in southern russia killing all 62 people on board. Investigators now say both of the flight recorders have been recovered. The boeing 737 was coming from dubai. Take a look at this new video just into the newsroom showing the debris at the crash site. Surveillance video captured what is believed to be the moment the crash happened as the plane burst into framlames. Theres no official cause but investigators say one likely factor was a strong wind gusting to near hurricane level. Officials say the plane crashed about 800 feet short of the runway. Back home in the bay area, the search is on for a groper. Peninsula police say a man inappropriately touched a young girl onpourboard a public bus. Tiffany wilson has the story from san mateo. Reporter take a good look at this man. Hes accused of inappropriately touching a 17yearold girl shortly after 11 00 a. M. Tuesday. Police say he boarded the bus at first and south b then sat down next to her. He touched her leg, put his arm around her several times and even touched her face. Reporter Sergeant Rick decker said the victim repeatedly told the suspect to stop. He did not. At one point he appeared to put his hand under her shift, which she resisted. Reporter the harassment continued until the suspect got off the bus near the hillsdale shopping center. No one on the bus was away. Riders are disgusted by the suspects alleged actions. Its crazy. I think its crazy. Its not okay to invade someones space. Reporter Athena Vazquez is 17 years old, the same age as the victim. Ive had a few men give me certain looks, but ive never had anyone come at me. Reporter police are encouraging parents to talk to their children about what to do is a stranger makes them uncomfortable. Vasquez says she already has a plan. Say no, get the attention of someone close to you, make it known. Reporter and now that she knows this mans face will you be on the lookout now . Most definitely. Reporter police hope all riders will do the same. In mateo, tiffany wilson. Caltrans shut down part of highway 101 in burlingame to demolish appear overpass. Tomorrow morning from 1 00 a. M. To 7 00 a. M. All southbound lanes between millbrae and broadway will be closed. One lane headed north will also be blocked off. Travel that used to travel on the overpass will be directed to a bridge this weekend. A fix for b. A. R. T. Could take months. There will be no Train Service between the bay point and North Concord stations until at least monday. They are trying to figure out whats behind a mysterious power surge thats damaging trains. Weekly searches ended last year but volunteers will go back to an area for another search. Lamars body has never been found. The suspect is awaiting trial. The deputies in fear of their life fired and ultimately struck the subject. Investigators said the victim was the mans foster child. 8 07 is the time. Theres a new petition online to stop an ikea store from being built in dubdublin. It calls for a 339,000 square foot store. Petitioners on change. Org said any benefits would not outweigh traffic and other issues caused by the store. The petition is asking for 1500 signatures. If the store is approved, it would open in 2018. Commercial crab fishermen finally have something to celebrate. The state announced the commercial crab fishing season will open one week from today. Recent test results showed acid levels south of those areas do not pose a Significant Health risk. The season has been delayed since november. A peninsula couple has been awarded 8 million in the wrongful death case of their baby daughter in 2010. A redwood city jury found 7monthold abigail was suffocated by a mattress pad made by evenflow. Her parents are sharing their story but evenflo is defending its product. You walk in the room and she would just light up. Reporter just 7 months old, abigail stopped breathing at day care. Her father was out of the country. I was running through the streets of berlin and calling out dont leave, dont leave, abby, dont leave. Reporter abigail died at the hospital. They were told she had been asleep on her back in another room. The coroner called it sids and thebltd it until the Police Report said she had been sleeping on her stomach. Putting a baby on her stomach is not a crime and it happens and she should have been able to breathe on that mattress. Reporter a mattress pad inside an evenflo play yard. The jury found it was the equivalent of a plastic bag. You put your baby on that product, the baby cannot breathe and the baby will die. Reporter he hopes the legal victory will lead to change. What we need is a law or a regulation that says babies need to be able to breathe through the top layer of a mattress pad, period. Its crazy that people just want to say, well, a baby dies in a crib, its sids, lets go home. Reporter the jury awarred them 8 million. Theres no amount of money that will bring her back, so but if somebody else doesnt have to go through this, i think its worth it. Reporter at trial, evenflo cited the fact that all treating emergency medical providers and the coroner determined abby died from sids. In a statement the company says in part evenflo stands behind the design of its playyard mattress pad and remains confident it was not the cause of her tragic death. It includes mandatory Sexual Harassment training next week for all top officials and a new peer review committee.
