This morning some of you are wondering if police could have done more after a man shot his exgirlfriend before turning the gun on himself in San Francisco. It happened yesterday morning at a building on natoma street. Police received four 911 calls in the hours that led up to the final and deadly encounter. Police are defending their ha handling of the dispute. Abc 7 news report he Sergio Quintana has details. Reporter this is one of the final Police Dispatch calls, shots fired and two people are hit. Hiding in the closet and the boyfriend and roommate were in the hallway. Reporter police say 29yearold cedric young forced his way into the south of market complex, shot his exgirlfriend, then fatally shot himself. She was hit in the chest and remains in San Francisco general hospital. Over the span of nine hours police say they received a series of 911 calls from the victim. The first call at 8 30 police say the victim said young wouldnt stop ringing her doorbell, but she hung up after the nuisance ended. 45 minutes later another call. Police respond and convince young to leave. Less than an hour later young returns intoxicated, so Police Booked him for being drunk in public. He spends the night in jail. But at 4 00 a. M. , he shows up again. The victim calls police. This time he wants to pack up some of his things, so police watch as she allows him in. She even helps him pack and he leaves. But an hour later, he somehow forces his way back into her home. Another call, whispering that his roommate has been shot. Reporter police say this is especially troubling because young had been arrested two years ago for felony Domestic Violence. That case was dismissed by the District Attorneys Office because the victim in the case refused prosecution. Reporter San Francisco police are reviewing how this incident was handled, but so far say officers followed Sergio Quintana, abc news. A heated conflict over class in San Franciscos mission d district. You think just because you have money, you can buy the field. No, we dont. And play and take over the field. This all happened about two weeks ago at the mission park soccer field. This video was posted on youtube. A group of young tech workers tried to kick the group off the feel because the workers reserved it through the city. The teams refuse d to go claimig the field had always been a place for pickup games. And so she wanted to know if she could retain my services to enforce this judgment. Reporter seemed logical especially when she said here are the Japanese Court documents, a divorce decree and settlement agreement, and she said this was her passport. I looked at all the documents. I looked at the email. I emailed her back, said, thank you very much. Reporter he sent her a retainer agreement be and told her he had to speak with her by phone. Enforcement of a foreign divorce decree is not a routine matter. Its not so simple. Reporter she replied saying she was traveling and couldnt find time to talk by phone. However, her exhusband had just agreed to cooperate and pay the money. So she said what id like to do is i would like to arrange to have him send you the money to hold in your trust account. Inside was a cashiers check, a chase Bank Cashiers check, in the sum of 497,000. Number one, someone who had never spoken to me sends me a cashiers check for 497,000. It didnt pass what i would call the smell check. Reporter he took the check to police. Sure enough, it was a phony. So are the supposed Court Documents and the passport. If he had deposited the worthless check and wired money, it would have been had his own cash going directly to the scammers. An internet search shows dozens of lawyers have received the very same phony plea for help from the phony koch. Thats why he contacted me. I could have stood to lose a lot of money. So i think the public needs to be made aware. Reporter okay, i cant say it enough. If you receive a check you did not receive to expect and asked to wire it back, its almost certainly a scam. The only thing that changes from one scheme to another is the story that the con artist tells you to set up the whole scheme. This time a phony legal case. Dont fall for it no matter what they said. A chance for rain to arrive as soon as tuesday night, lingering into wednesday morning. Here is a look in detail of our fire weather watch. It gets going at 11 00 tonight north in east bay hills and then by about 3 00 in the morning the winds will crank up Santa Cruz Mountains. And so some of the wind gusts above 1,000 feet could be at 50 miles an hour and so with very little relative humidity in the atmosphere, we are worried about fires being started. Also looking at a statement with large northwest swells anywhere from 11 to 13 feet. Ocean beach, Sonoma County and down through monterey bay. Pretty dangerous out there for sure. High pressure is building in and the Pressure Gradient tightens.
