Police are looking for a man who shot two College Students near Michigan State student. Michigan state university. It happened just before 9 00 last night at an apartment complex located less than a mile from the campus in east lansing. One student was listed in Critical Condition at a local hospital and the other was treated and released. Students were alerted by a text message and police did not believe its a are random attack. One person is hospitalized with injuries after being shot multiple times in san jose. The shooting happened around 9 45 last night on okur gateway at a middle school. The shooting victim was taken to the hospital with lifethreatening injuries, no word yet on that persons conditions. Police say the suspects car crashed a short distance away. No word on a motive. The Highway Patrol is still looking for one of two people who led them on a chase through the east bay last night, but we have exclusive video of the other suspect being arrested. The Highway Patrol said the driver sped off when officers tried pulling over the lexus for running a stop sign near the oakland zoo. The driver led officers into berkeley, where the chase came to an end. That was near the ashby bart station. You see the suspect there. The woman in the car was arrested and the male driver is still being sought. Police say they found guns and drugs in the car. A problem with ship traffic in San Francisco bay had a deep i impact on train traffic underneath the bay. A ship suddenly lost power and dropped anchor, triggering concerns it could damage the bart transbay tube in the bay. We have details. The coast guard said a large container ship was on its way to berth 35 at the port of oakland which is run by evergreen shipping. According to the bar pilots, it it was dropped 1200 feet from the transbay tube, but even if the tube had been hit, it shouldnt post a problem. Two san jose men were arrested and charged for stealing mail from more than 250 people throughout the south bay. The 47yearold and 23yearold men were taken into custody last week in los gatos. A ruthless computer virus discovered last september is still terrorizing users and making millions of them in the process. Abc7 News Reporter Jonathan Bloom has more on cryptolocker. I look at my computer. There was a red screen ton and on the red screen there was a down down clock. It happened a few action Brian Douglass opened a email that looked like it was from amazon, but it wasnt. I had a pretty bad feeling. But two or three weeks later the red screen showed up. His computer has cryptolockers. Its been silently scrambling his photos, video and documents, and will only unscramble them if he pays 400 before the time runs out. Went to google and looked it up, and low and behold, wikipedia told me i was in pretty bad trouble. Cryptolocker is notorious. Its the most sophisticated piece of software the experts have come across. Completely unbreakable, for all practical purposes. Even if you harnessed the worlds computers, you wouldnt be able to break the crypto. Thats what they are using here. John said cryptolocker uses the worlds best security encryption, the only good option is to wipe your computer clean and restore from a backup thats more than three weeks old. If you dont have one, you are left with a choice. Lose all your data or purchase the key to unscramble it. Its really a business, isnt it . Absolutely. Theres one recent estimate the perpetrators have netted somewhere around 27 million from this. We talked to one use who are did get his data back. But he sid not everyone does. Payments are in bit coin, an electronic currency thats virtually untraceable. Theres no way to know who is the person behind it. Douglas said paying criminals is out of the question.
