>> no. i'm not. >> likely not to have a parking problem is jamie matthews. he won't stay for the game. >> i had seats, but many people wanted to go to the game and i'm not really a football fan. so i'm excited about other people being able to go. >> in santa clara, abc7 news. the nfl put up this structure made of steel gerter was a covering over it. we ran into the production designers having breakfast this morning and asked them about it. >> come hell or high water it will be ready for sunday, yes. it's massive and looks beautiful inside. a different worker provided abc7 news with this video from inside. the designers say it's the biggest of its type in the world. >> football fans from all over are pouring into the bay area now, including lots and lots of broncos and panthers fan. people we spoke to are 100% behind their teams. >> going to see the second super bowl and bringing home a victory. >> super bowl 50, we love the broncos. it's coming together. here i am. >> 50, 50, it works. airport officials say they expect about 1.3 million people to pass through sfo and the busiest day should be monday. >> cal train is adding special trains to get people to and from the super bowl. they spotted staff and family taking the train to san francisco. >> we're going to go to super bowl city, nfl experience. >> we're going to go to fisherman's wharf and ride a trolley. >> cal train will charge $20 to park in their lots on super bowl sunday, they normally charge $5. if you choose to drive, watch out for rising parking rates. lots have doubled their prices. it usually costs 18 bucks a day to park along the embarcadero, today, it was $40 a day. >> and bart set ridership records, 486,000 people rode yesterday, the fifth highest day on record. and let's continue our live team coverage of super bowl week with abc7 sports director larry beil joining us live from the mosconi center, hi, larry. >> hi, ama. everybody knows disneyland is the happiest place on earth. this might be the second happiest because everybody is pumped up. huge crowds today coming in for the nfl experience, open until 10:00 tonight. i guess just a rough estimate, about 50% of the people are wearing nfl team gear. and a lot of niners red and gold. now, let's get to the news of the day. three teams, raiders, chargers and rams have filed for relocation, you know, the rams are going to be moving to los angeles. the chargers are going to stay in san diego for this one more season, and the raiders, nobody knows what is going on. they're searching all corners of the globe for a home and stadium but today, commissioner giddel spoke to the media and made it clear the nfl is going to continue to support efforts to keep the raiders here in the bay area. however, obviously, easier said than done because it's going to take a lot of cooperation. >> over the past year, we have seen each of those communities expressing that they don't have proper facilities for the long term for the teams. they've indicated that they have not been able to come up with the right solution. our pledge to so try to help them get that done. mark davis has supports both of these teams. and we're working very hard to not only the teams but the communities to try to find a solution that works for everybody. this has to work for everybody and the teams. >> one thing that is certain, monday, november 21st, in mexico, the raiders, mexico city will be packed with raiders fans for that game. they have huge support south of the border, coming up in sports, we're going to hear from the carolina panther player who broke his arm only 12 days ago, yet is ready to play on super sunday, as well as the spartan who unfortunately cannot. that is a wrap for the moment. here from mosconi center and the nfl experience, back with more in sports. back to you. >> thank you, larry. and our coverage continues throughout the next hour in 20 minutes we'll see how the super bowl excitement spread across the bay in oakland. then, at 6:30 a look at the federal, state, and local measures put into effect and at 6:45, michael finney shows why this weekend is the golden opportunity to experience alternatives to football. a powerful earthquake hit the island of taiwan just over six hours ago now. the shaking so strong, two buildings collapsed. abc7 news is in the studio with the latest on the rescue efforts now underway. kristin? >> search and rescue teams are focusing on a apartment building in the southern part of taiwan. hundreds of people live in that 17-story building that collapsed when a 6.4 quake hit in the middle of the night there. here are the latest numbers. news agencies report at least three people dead in the rubble, including a baby girl. 200 people have been rescued and 154 people taken to hospitals. i spoke with a man who grew up here in santa clara who teaches english there, and tells me this quake was more violent than loma prieta. >> we were sleeping and it was rocking. the building was shaking up and down, side to side. the walls were making noise. never heard anything like it before. we were so startled and wanted to run out of the house. >> taiwan often gets quakes, in 1999 devastated by a 7.6 quake that killed nearly 2300 people. abc7 news covered that quake extensi extensively. i traveled to report on the international rescue efforts. since that quake, most of the new buildings are strong structurally, unfortunately, hinan is an older city and buildings don't stand up well to strong shaking. the usgs estimates 40 million people may have felt the shaking. this is another picture for you. unfortunately, and actually this is the only good part i can report, no tsunami alert has been issued. dan and ama? >> that is encouraging, thank you very much. oneñi person died in a deadly collision involving an ambulance and two other vehicles on 680 today. the ambulance was carrying a patient at the time but no one was injured. a person in another vehicle, however, did die. the collision and response caused a severe back up for northbound drivers. >> yesterday, in an interview with abc7 news, you heard from the man stabbed by mario woods. it happened december 2nd in the bay view, the day woods was shot and killed by police. tonight, responses to that interview. abc7 news is live in the newsroom with more. vic? >> reporter: we left message was supervisors and aides told us they were out of town. but most did not return our calls, we did, however, get responses. now, the stabbing victim did not want to be identified, so we're just going to call him jacob, not his real name. >> i'm trying to figure out how to get my life together. >> since the stabbing, jacob is afraid people may want to harm him because the attack was the first in a sequence of events that ended with mario woods' death. the shooting was on video, which went viral. jacob said he was attacked, sitting in his car for no reason. >> to get stabbed by someone i don't know, i don't have no beef with or anything else. >> he was treated for stab wounds. jacob tells us he's the forgotten victim, the one attacked, the victim. protestors and city officials ignored. >> and i acknowledge what they're doing is trying to get justice, and everything. but at the same time, you have to realize that there are victims of black on black crimes that i don't feel like they announce. >> he's a victim too. i feel for him just like i feel for mario and the officers. >> joe marshal is a police commissioner and founder of the omega boys club. jacob, marshal says had been victimized by politics involved in the shooting of mario woods. >> in this case we had a young man who was stabbed and almost killed and actually killed. . >> what also disturbs jacob, the day of remembrance the city passed for woods. supervisor avalos says he feels sad for victims but defends the board's action. >> this is not the case of ignoring a victim. the case of we see the most-lurid use of police force being tormenting a community. and killing a person, and tormenting a community. that needs to be answered to. >> what about some answers for jacob? since the attack, jacob says he's trying to get his life back together again. he lost his job because his arm is not healed completely and he sleeps in his car or at a friend's place and when he goes outside, he always looks over his shoulder. vic lee, abc7 news. >> no doubt he does. thank you. bart is now overing a $10,000 reward to help track down a man who shot and killed a bart passenger last month. surveillance photos show the suspect january 9th. police say he shot the man several times on a train that stopped at the west oakland bart station. bart says the camera did not capture the incident as we have reported because it was a fake camera. after a call to replace those fakes bart has begun installing real cameras on all cars. the work is expected to cost nearly $1.5 million. >> coming up, touchdowns, transcended. next, taking a look at the evolution of the super bowl over the last half century. >> i'm spencer christian. this is four score and seven years ago, our [train horn blares]th-- ... to the continent...
