Sky7 shows the area in San Mateo County that rescue crews will be combing through. 56yearold Bethnee Haury hasnt been seen since thursday afternoon when she and her dog left their b b for a walk. Katie marzullo has the story. Reporter the first full day of searching came to an end without success. 56yearold Bethnee Haury was last seen thursdays a little after 4 00 p. M. She was hiking with her dog on skyline boulevard in woodside. This woman lives on skyline. She says hikers get lost here all the time. A lot of people have come knocking on my door looking for their car or they just get turned around. Bethnee reporter more than 70 search and rescue personnel, some on horseback, and 13 dogs have been looking for bethnee in rough terrain. This is a very severely wooded area. Its very challenging for someone from the air to be able to see anything as well as the ground units. Reporter theres also the issue of bethnees health. She has early onset of dementia and so were worried about where it is that she might be located at this point or if she even knows where she is. Reporter bethnee is from Mountain View. She had been staying at a bed and breakfast with her husband and 15yearold son. Shes 55, 140 pounds and is wearing yoga pants and a pink shirt. Her dog is a large australian shepherd named camaro. The Sheriffs Office says its good the weather has been mild and theres plenty of water to be found in the woods right now. The search resumes at first light. In woodside, katie marzullo, abc7 news. A 60yearold woman is undergoing a physical and psychological evaluation after San Francisco police say she was armed and forced part of the Mission District into lockdown. Police say the suspect surrendered after a sevenhour standoff. It all happened at valencia and 16th street yesterday and into the night. Abc7 News Reporter Sergio Quintana has details. Reporter a busy section of the neighborhood are remained in limbo for hours. The police even brought in muni buses for residents to wait in and began working with the red cross in case this went into the night and people had to sleep somewhere else. But at about 9 00, the standoff ended. The subject walked out into the hallway and the tactical members and hostage negotiators that were there took the subject into custody. Reporter there all started about 2 00 p. M. Police say a pest control man was going from room to room inside the crown hotel. When he knocked on the suspects door, the person opened it holding a gun. Thats what prompted a response. So were being evacuated from the building. Reporter three busy blocks valencia street had to be cleared of residents, customers, and businesses. The Police Officer just told us, you should run, because we got out and we were walking and he was gesturing like, you better run. They told us we were in the line of fire and told us to run out into the street. It was a little bit chaotic and scary. Reporter we did see officers with Ballistic Shields escorting people. This morning, a man is in jail arrested for a shooting that shut down eastbound interstate 80 in richmond this week. Chp investigators arrested elliot john henry johnson. He and two 17yearolds are accused of opening fire on a blue van on thursday. The driver of the van is in grave condition. His passenger, a 24yearold woman, is also injured. The chp credits witnesses for helping them arrest the suspects within hours of that shooting. Santa clara county Sheriffs Office has arrested a second person in the beating death of an 88yearold woman from san jose. Flo douglas, affectionately known as ms. Flo, died in october. Prosecutors charged zachary in her murder saying he broke into her home and beat her. This morning, Jennifer Hernandez jimenez is also in custody being held without bail. A south bay man is accused of stalking as many as 20 underage girls now in jail on 1 million bail up from 200,000. Abc7 news was in palo alto as the judge made that decision at the first hearing for rajeev sanhi yesterday. His father had nothing to say to us. The 35yearold is accused of following a 14yearold girl home, offering her money and gifts, ask keeping photo collages of young girls at his home. You have a defendant who has targeted young women and young girls and has annoy and had harassed them repeatedly over the course of the last few years. Reporter investigators say sanhi has applied for jobs at churches and schools, more possible victims have come forward. The wife of the orlando nightclub shooter will remain in jail even though a judge in oakland granted her bail last week. Noor salman is accused of aiding and abetting her husband omar mateen who killed 49 people in last summer in orlando. Yesterday, a judge in florida decided she should not be released because the two talked about a club attack less than a week before it happened. A new warning at the oroville dam, that problematic emergency spillway may be needed again next week if the lake overflows from melting snow pack and storm runoff. But in the city, it looks quite calm with low 40s in santa rosa, the cool spot 46 in novato, 48 in fairfield, its 50 in concord, livermore waking up to 47 degrees. So, we are looking at cooler temperatures, but where that fog is sitting right now, its going to stay cool for a little while with temperatures anywhere from 4 to 7 degrees cooler than we were at this time yesterday. But boy, tradeoff is the temperatures rebounding well into the 70s today underneath mostly sunny conditions so you can just see the towers here of the Golden Gate Bridge, springlike conditions this weekend, temperatures well above average, the mild pattern continues into the next seven days, were looking at some pretty rapid snow melt, though, in the mountains and temperatures will be coming down just temporarily by the middle of the weak as the weak weather system wants to push into the north bay but then they rebound and its going to be once again very mild, looks like into next weekend. It blocks travel from six muslim majority nations except for people with visas issued before january 27.
