about 100% right now. milder air returns wednesday as high pressure builds on in. as we look at the morning lows tomorrow you notice we will be once again upper 20s petaluma, santa rosa, 32 livermore. hayward even down to 36 degrees. it's been chilly in san jose. by tuesday lax like we will bring in more cloud cover and temperatures trying to recover. but it's really by wednesday as high pressure builds we get back into a milder air mass. so the next several hours you will notice some of the cloud cover pushing over. just high clouds. forecast models had a tough time with that system want to go bring in rain late tonight but it's not going to happen. we will stay clear. as a result some high clouds will allow for temperatures to stay pretty much near 30 degrees in santa rosa tomorrow teachers. the concept is not new. the mt. diablo school district already has their own program. they tell us the pros and cons of the process. >> the number of teachers hired with emergency credentials has tripled in california in the past three years. this, according to the learning policy institute. >> we all know that the teacher shortage is is a primary problem that we've been addressing. >> because of the great recession, teaching jobs were lost and layoffs discouraged potential newcomers. >> it's not viable if you don't know from year to year if you are going to have a job. >> several local universities offer credentials. you see usc, stanford. but the district has come up with a faster and less expensive credentialsling program called pathway to teaching. here is how it works. for starters the fee is $5,000 payable to the district. less than what it would cost elsewhere. candidates receive online and on-site individual training and must spend six weeks teaching during the summer. instead of being you taught by college professors, it by those who understands the process. the teacher's union has some reservations about the program. >> whether the we do have cloud cover advancing into the bay area. so that may help offset some of the temperatures from dropping even more. so 20s and 30s to get you going. by the afternoon high cloud, 40s and 50s.
