The Blue Ribbon Panel appointed to look into the inner workings of the San Francisco Police Department is expected to release their final report tomorrow. San Francisco Police commissioner, joe marshall, said the shootings in louisiana and minnesota are less likely to happen here. Thats because of the recent reforms of the Police Department and the Blue Ribbon Panel. Back in may that panel found the department lax transparency and accountability. Marshall said the culture of policing has to change. Unless you make the changes, incidents like this, what happened in st. Paul and baton rouge, are liable to happen again. It will take change. Abc7 News Reporter Lisa Amin Gulezian has the story. She was too nice of a person for something to happen to her elvira or elvie babb lived alone in this onebedroom apartment. Crime scene detectives have covered every inch of the place in hopes of find being the 57yearold. They arrested these four, who they say kidnapped babb. Her son got the ransom message. They got the message they would hurt her if they contacted the police and didnt deliver the amount of cash specified. This man was the ringleader and may have been her neighbor several years ago. Vallejo Police Originally thought the kidnapping of Denise Huskins back in 2015 was a hoax. Further investigation led to the arrest of matthew muller. Prosecutors say muller drugged and bound her before abducting her and eventually letting her go. His kidnapping trial is set to begin in january. The person drained his account then deposited this phony check and kept buying. Citibank investigated, but to his shock denied his fraud claim, saying he could have made those transactions. He had the account 14 years. Never made purchases like this but says citibank refused to review Surveillance Video to find out who did. At this point i was at my wits end. He contacted us. Citibank reviewed the case and reversed their decision, returning his money. They said while the claim was denied initially, it has been honored. And the money vanishes.
