north bay. pinpointing the numbers for you today. today being the warmest day we talk about the cooling trend headed our way through the week ahead. tiffany. >> lisa, thank you. this morning an intensive search will continue for two men missing with a fishing boat off the sonoma county coast as funeral plans are made for two. their companions. the coast guard began searching for the boast when it didn't return to bodega bay on friday after a fishing trip. three of the boaters are from santa rosa. abc7 news reporter sergio quintana has the latest developments. >> from sky 7hd you can see the wreckage of the 21-foot boat. the four aboard were supposed to have a leisurely fishing day. the family of one of those on board say they are praying for a miracle. >> we are holding up hope that he will be okay. he's a really strong guy and praying that he will be all right. >> they are the family of 28-year-old ryan vial. he was the youngest aboard and remains missing. his friend david brennan is also missing. code guard crews recovered the bodies of richard hargreaves and diane kelly. >> i know one of them recovered did not have a flotation device on. >> this has been an extensive search with crews covering dozens of miles in the ocean. it began friday night because someone in the fishing boat didn't show up for a 5:00 appointment so the coast guard was called in. the coast guard said the conditions were challenging, but not particularly dangerous. >> 21-foot boat is average for being out there, i have a 30-foot boat, not too much bigger, but just rough seas. >> the national park service and marin county fire department will continue with the coastal search for brian and dave brennan. their families are hoping they might have survived. abc7 news. we waiting on the identity of a woman who was hit and killed by a taxi cab in san francisco. it happened at 10:30 last night at larkin and pine streets. police say that the woman ran into the street and was then struckdy by the cab. the roads were shut down during the investigation. a body of a man was recovered a week after he was thrown from his motorcycle and off a bridge. the body was found about a half-mile southeast of the antioch bridge. his motorcycle crashed into a car and he fell 135 feet into the river last sunday. antioch police are looking for people involved in a street fight that ended with a 16-year-old girl being stabbed. sky 7hd was over the high school just before 3:00 yesterday afternoon. witnesses say the victim was on the sidewalk in front of the school when several people got out of a light honda pacific and started attack her. she was stabbed several times but is expected to be okay. a few minutes later and a few blocks away a 7-year-old boy was seriously hope when he ran into a moving car. it happened near d street. the child hit the side of the car and a helicopter took him to childrens hospital in oakland with severe injuries. the driver stopped and cooperated with authorities. >> well the warriors held on for a win yesterday in game one yesterday. they won over the pelicans. mike shumann will be here with the highlights a little later on in sports. but first we caught up with some excited fans. >> the dub nation silenced their enemy's free throws with the rumble of thunder sticks with steph curry leading the brigade. the battle cry. turning to developing news in southern california. firefighters are battling a wildfire in riverside county. mandatory evacuation orders are in effect for 300 homes threatened near chino hills. it started near the dam after 6:00 last night. it quickly grew to 300 acres. officials say that it's 15% contained. no injuries have been reported and the cause is under investigation. officials are looking into whether a truck got too close to dry bush near the highway and triggered a spark. >> a cigarette left in a potted plant on a balcony could be to blame for an apartment fire in san francisco. the fire broke out at pine and powell streets just before 9:00 yesterday morning. fire crews arrived to find flames on a top floor balcony that spread to the walls and attic of the apartment. they cut a hole in the roof for ventilation and quickly knocked down the fire. no one was hurt. oh, my god! oh, my god! cell phone video captures the aftermath of a gas line explosion along highway 99 at the fresno county sheriffs gun range friday afternoon. the blast sent 11 people in the hospital. four of them were released yesterday. two are still in critical condition. investigators say the driver of a front-loader hit a 12-inch gas line causing the blast. pg&e said it was never notified of any construction so they could not mark the gas lines. san francisco police are taking precautions to ensure everyone has a mellow time as monday's marijuana smokeout at golden gate park except for commuters. tomorrow is the 20th, april 20th 4/20 where smokers take the urban myth and turn it into a day of smoking. they say the smoke will get pretty thick in the afternoon at the park. they are planning to close down westbound keaser drive during commuting hours and that means a the cooler condition was 50s at the shoreline with 80s inland. in between a nice afternoon with plenty of 70s and looking as temperatures mainly in the 60s and 70s for the week ahead. with our radar and satellite picture you can see a couple of clouds and precip along the sierra nevada. that will be the case throughout the week ahead. high pressure stays off the coast. today will be the warm weekendest day a series of very weak weather systems will slide down the coast. what that's going to do is allow for the cooler day. the mist and drizzle starting with tonight into tomorrow. notice the low clouds and fog with us pushing across the bay tomorrow morning. yeah, it maybe a little wits of mist and drizzle. we are sunny in the afternoon. slightly cooler. this model picking it up from tuesday. and you will notice that we will have pop-up showers mainly in the higher elevations from the north coast, the sierra. but the bay area probably not likely. we will see the cooler air and then right on into friday notice we will call it unsettled even though we aren't looking at widespread rain here, mainly in the higher elevations. in terms of high temperatures today, upper 70s. it's as a sutherby's auction in new york. it's not just huge, but incredibly clear and colorless. the head of the jewelry department at sotherby's said it's so clear it can only be compared to an icy the california state park's 17th annual earth day cleanup. they picked up trash and removed invasive plants from the state park. the statewide program has resulted in nearly 335,000 volunteer hours, worth more than $6 million in park maintenance and improvements. san francisco's dolores park debuted their ecopop-up yesterday. crews placed recycle and compost bins to help keep track out of the showing restraint and choosing not to shoot a man charging toward him. >> i won't shoot you man, i'm not going to shoot you! >> a body camera on the officer captured the whole thing. officer jesse kitter kept his finger on the trigger as the suspected killer came running at him, daring him to shoot. the officer kept his cool, even after tripping and falling on his back. after about a minute help finally arrived. >> i definitely felt during the entire interaction that he was trying to gode me into opening fire on him. clearly he was yelling "shoot me, shoot me!" >> police arrested michael wilcox. the police said he knew wilcox was trying to commit suicide by cop. >> new details on a texas former officer who killed an unarmed suspect this month. 73-year-old robert bates was proficient in firearms and dozen of other training courses. bates is now charged with second degree manslaughter. he said he mistakenly pulled out a handgun instead of a stun gun when he killed eric harris. today marks 20 years since the oklahoma city bombing that killed 168 people and injured nearly 700 others. in less than half an hour, a memorial ceremony will begin at the site of the bombing. once the federal building, it is now the oklahoma city national building and museum. the attack remains the worst act of homegrown terror on american soil, and president clinton is expected to speak later coopers are under a recall because of a faulty air bag sensor. it involves 2005 to 2008 model years of the cooper and the cooper s sedans and convertibles. the problem prevents the front passenger airbag from going off in a crash. the sensor may not recognize that somebody is sitting there. bmw, makers of the mini cooper will replace the sensor at no cost. actor ben affleck wants to perform surgery on his family tree. according to a hacked e-mail posted by wikileaks, last year he asked pbs to edit out information about an an ses store that owned slaves. it's part of a show "finding your roots." affleck was feet nurse a series of "finding your roots" lasts year. the host sent the e-mail containing affleck's request to pbs guidance. they said complying with the request would violate their rules, but the facts, none the less, were left out of the show. >> happening today the annual susan b anthony women of the year award will be handed out by the political caucus. abc7 news was there last year when awards went to the plaintiffs in the federal civil rights lawsuit against prop 8 and to assemblywoman nancy skinner of berkeley. this year's winners including tony atkins, the with reduced visibility. the sun sets at 7:49. the days are getting longer. it will feel like spring for the week ahead. today we still have some warm numbers in the inland valleys. a look at san jose this morning. temperatures in the 50s here for the most part except for half moon bay. 3-mile visibility at 48 degrees. san francisco is at 50. 51 across the bay in oakland. we are looking at low 50s elsewhere in the santa clara valley. from mt. tam, the sun up before the low cloud deck. 48 petaluma, 50 concord. and the fog just making it over to the east bay. not quite over the east bay hills where we have the visibility which is being impacted by the dense fog from santa rosa right along the coast and even some mist and drizzle. finally from our east bay hills looking at mt. diablo a pretty day here. temperatures will be on the warm side for the valleys. again, cool at the coast with cloudy skies. may see partial sunshine from time to time. a series of very weak weather disturbance less keep the temperatures in the 60s and 70s for the week ahead. cooler and the threat of rain not likely but you will notice the extra cloud cover throughout the afternoon. so our satellite and radar imagery shows high pressure sitting offshore. this will allow for a series of weak weather disturbances to allow for the thunderstorms perhaps in the sierra nevada, but overall for underway tomorrow and takes us through the middle of the week with mainly a sprinkles and maybe mist and drizzle along the coast and partly cloudy skies throughout the afternoon. temperatures in 60s
