since wednesday. six people remain missing. they range in age from 2 to 63. rescue workers continue their search through mud and debris that has buried much of mont mont cito. highway 101 has been closed after being inundated by mud and debris. as reported, john gregory from our sister station in los angeles, clean-up crews are making progress. >> it is day four and work continues to clean up the mud. search and rescue crews looking for survivors. you can see the seasonable here at the 101 freeway. both sides shut down by muck and debris. one of the complicated factors, they worry that they could find some victims buried under all of this muck. >> slowly but surely, the floodwaters are receding. workers are using pumps and hoses while heavy equipment clears away debris. and it's been pretty mild all day. mid 50s in napa and novato. one more look, these the forecast features. dry and mild weather. the wet pattern begins monday and we'll have periods of rain throughout the week. it will be a rather wet week. and a foggy night tonight. here's the forecast animation shows some high clouds moving out but some fog remaining. dense fog oh in the central valley and in the strait. as we get into the early morning hours, we will see the fog moving away from the bay and the coastline. but some of it will linger see about the afternoon hours. most of the area will be sunny. there will be some lingering fog. the overnight lows in the mid to upper 40s. chillier where the lows will drop into the lower 40s. the day planner tomorrow, it shows lingering fog and maybe a few clouds at 7:00 in the morning. by noon, most of the fog will have dissipated but some will be lingering. mild conditions with highs in the mid to upper 60s. then of a 7:00, mostly clear skies. highs, more specifically tomorrow. 65 in santa rosa. 62 expected in concord. look for 62 at san mateo skeeflt in fremont and down south, a high of 64. the rain chances over the next seven days are quite substantial monday through friday. four of those days, we are ranking the storm impact as 1 on our abc s7 storm impact scale. it will produce light rainfall. up in the north bay, there could be locally heavier amounts up to one inch or more. so 7:00 monday morning, a wave of rain coming in. sweeping through and continuing into the evening hours. another wave of rain on tuesday. we expect snow in the sierra as well as these two waves of rainfall at the beginning of the week. and rainfall totals by tuesday we project will be about a quarter of an inch. maybe a little more in most bay area locations, up to a half inch or more in the north bay. bright and mild tomorrow and sunday. but things get cloudier and cooler on monday and it will be a soggy week all week next week. >> okay.
