President trump met with his business advisor recouncil this morning and at that meeting Tesla Ceo Elon musk apparently asked about hiS Immigration executive order. This is video from todays meeting. According to cnbc, musk talked about immigration and that was one of several debates on the subject. Womens issues also came up. Yesterday musk had said he would object to the president S Immigration order. Three california students, including two in the bay area tonight, are challenging President Trumps travel ban in court. We spoke with stanford student hadil earlier this week. She is one of the students attached to the federal lawsuit filed in San Francisco this week. The suit says the ban is unconstitutional and creates hardships for students. She is now unable to visit her husband in yemen. Ph. D. Candidate at berkeley fears losing a job tupgt abc well. A group of president s and chancellors from 48 universities signed a letter to the president this week calling for him to rectify or rescind altogether the executive order. Almost two weeks after those that couple was found dead, there are still no answers and weve contacted police, the landlord, the Humane Society even, pg e and the coroner and no update on what caused the death of that couple and their two cats or whether it could pose a safety risk to others in the building. Nearly two weeks after her neighbors and their cats were found dead in their apartment, theres no official word on why they died. Two cats, two people. In fact in the hours after the bodies of valerie and roger morash were found, police asked pg e to come test for the poisonous gas. They say they found nothing and gave the all clear. A former employee of popular south bay science camp pleaded guilty to sexually arresting two boys. He was arrested in may of 2015 for child pornography. The day after the arrest, investigators learned about a 10yearold camper at walden West Science Center who was molested by padilla. Another victim came forward. The 29yearld will serve 18 years in prison. Now, this looks like just a bunch of boxes, but you are looking at the largest opium poppy seizure in Mountain View history. Police found 4,000 pounds of opium poppy pods worth about 400,000. They took a couple into custody. Police have been following them for months. Theyre both charged with possession of controlled substances for sale. One day after Law Enforcement searched the home of a San Francisco sheriffs deputy accused of mail and wire fraud, shes now facing a more serious charge. She was released on a secured bond this afternoon. Despite the allegations in this new criminal complaint, her attorney tells us shes done nothing illegal. Tonight for the first time were hearing what Antwan Fowler told the feds about how he says he got deputy myers gun. According to the new complaint filed today, deputy april myers is accused of disposing a firearm to give it to a convicted felon. Deputy myers seen with that man, and th antoine fourth of juwler. Myers is accused of giving fowler the gun under the guys of an alleged burglary after he was released. Myers attorney questions the credibility of informants in the case, including fowlers cell mate. Its not reliable and its not somethng that someone should be convicted on. Reporter yesterday fbi agents, San FranciscoPolice Officers and San FranciscoDistrict Attorneys Office investigators served a search warrant at myers home. According to the criminal complaint, they found several items myers claimed had been stolen. She is also facing mail and wire fraud charges. They found her allegedly stolen duty weapon in fowlers car when they arrested him. Fowler initially denied having it and then told investigators myers gave it to him with 2500 to get rid of it because it was fired by someone else at his home in an incident where his finger was grazed. Myers said the two did not have an intimate relationship in the jail. She said they had been friends for years and fowler stole the gun. It seems likely. Hes the one that has it in his possession. Do you believe he stole it with or without her knowledge . Absolutely without her knowledge. Reporter that is what deputy myers attorney has to say about this tonight. Again, fowler has not been released. Deputy myers has been released on a secured bond with conditions that she not have contact with certain individuals. And that includes one of her sons, who was involved in that alleged shooting incident with fowler inside her home. Also that she not have contact with fowler, who is now back in jail.
