Both female students reported the separate incidents early sunday morning after attending parties at two uc berkeley fraternities the night before. The other is located on the 2400 block of prospect avenue. Today many students were aware of the alleged assaults. One of the women report knowing the person who assaulted her, and 80 of these cases are perpetrated by someone they know but the second woman was not familiar with the person who assaulted her. A woman in her 30s told police that show was attacked as she walked north on mend sceno avenue near Santa Rosa High School about 10 15 on saturday night. She says the man came up to her from behind, picked her up and threw her into the bushes. She was able to get away after about a minute and called for help. Later 27yearold Kadeem Edwards was found near a recycle yard in east oakland.
