People have the right to assemble as long as its done peacefully and lawfully. Local people can express their feelings about whats happened in missouri again tonight at a Healing Center set up in oakland. About 100 people have visited Healing Centers since monday evening and one of them remains open until 8 00 tonight. Its located near 26th street. Community groups have worked with city officials to offer peaceful places for people to talk about their feelings. In downtown st. Louis, a tense protest today at city hall. About 200 demonstrators marched through downtown and held a mock trial of officer darren wilson. Police arrested three people accused of attempting to barge into city hall. More than 100 Additional Police officers were called in to the building and it was locked down. Ferguson saw a second night of vandalism, meantime, as protests were calmer than monday night with about 2200 National Guard troops credited with helping to contain the damage. A man standing on the Street Corner playing with a yoeyo is now in the hospital. A car jumped the curb and hit a pole just after 2 30 this morning. The car hit so hard it knocked down the traffic light and that hit the pedestrian. Witnesses say it was a violent accident. The guy threw up in the air about three feet. The car was blazing. There was smoke everywhere. I opened the door and drug him out. I thought the car was going to catch on fire. We saw smoke and i thought it was going to blow up. Both the driver and pedestrian were taken to the hospital. The extent of their injuries is not known right now. San Francisco Police want to hear from anyone who can help them learn more about a shooting that sent six people to the hospital. Two of those victims have lifethreatening injuries after being shot at 13th and mission. It happened outside a rap concert about 12 45 this morning. No arrests have been made. Police have not released the description of any people or vehicles involved in the shooting. A woman who worked at a bay area restaurant back in the 70s is the latest to come forward accusing Comedian Bill Cosby of drugging and raping her. Donna motsinger now lives in new mexico. Abc 7 News Reporter Carolyn Tyler spoke with her and joins us from the newsroom with the story. Well, its been more than 40 years and Donna Motsinger says she never saw bill cosby again after the alleged assault. She has moved away from the bay area and on with her life. At 73, she is now a great grandmother and she told me she is only coming forward to support the other women who are speaking out. Those women are not lying. And im not lying. Its the honest to god truth. Reporter this was Donna Motsinger back in the 70s when she met bill cosby. She was a single mom working as a waitress at the trident restaurant in sausalito then owned by the kingston trio, a mecca for stars. She says cosby asked her to see him perform. She says they drank in the limo on the way. Then her story mirrors the accounts of other accusers. I didnt feel right. I felt really bad. I finally asked him could i please have an aspirin. The next thing i know, im in the limousine again with his hands on me. I wake up in my own bed the next morning, all my clothes off except for my underwear. And i know i had been sexually assaulted. Reporter she says she was too ashamed to come forward then, though she did in 2005 as one of the 12 jane does willing to testify in the civil lawsuit filed against cosby by another woman. That case was settled out of court with no admission of guilt on cosbys part. Earlier this month, Associated Press asked him for a response to the growing chorus of rape accusations. San Francisco Police are searching for two thieves who drove into a high end store this morning and made off with very expensive merchandise. Workers were busy this afternoon patching up the damage at the chanel store near union square. The thieves crashed their vehicle through the stores back window on maiden lane. Police say one of the thieves jumped out, grabbed six handbags worth thousands of dollars each. Right now, people have little police, rather, have Little Information on the thieves. He or she, we dont know. The race or gender of that suspect. Only that that suspect is wearing a knit cap, has a Face Mask Covering his identity. Police say the thieves drove away in a white vehicle. In fact, her little classmates did their part, too. Abc 7 education reporter Lyanne Melendez has a heartwarming story this thanksgiving of a Community Coming together to help one of their own. Reporter nearly a year ago, olive diamond, now a first grader, was diagnosed with tcell lymphoma, a type of blood cancer. She was quickly pulled out of school to begin treatment. At the time, kara cooper was her Kindergarten Teacher at Francis Scott key elementary. It made me extremely nervous and worried about how we were going to continue her education, how i was going to keep her learning. Reporter during one of her visits to the familys home, cooper came up with an idea. They had face time on their computer. I had her working on an ipad at home and just at the table with her parents. We thought wait a minute, this is something we can do together. Reporter using two ipads, one at olives home and the other in the classroom, the teacher was able to include olive in the daily lessons from the hospital or from home. Her classmates knew exactly what to do. She moved around the classroom with us. People who sat in the back or sat next to the table just took the ipad and put it places so she could see. Reporter her parents say olive never missed a day of instruction. She was almost fluidly reading certain level books by the end of kindergarten while she was getting aggressive chemo treatments weekly. Reporter the idea inspired other teachers to do the same. For example, another teacher at the same school was recently diagnosed with cancer. With the use of an ipad, she is now reading to her classroom every day from her home while undergoing chemotherapy. She will never forget how she stayed connected to her classmates and how this one teacher did everything she could to keep her connected. We never were able to fall. There was really dark days but we never were alone. Reporter olive is now a happy first grader with a passion for learning. Are you happy in school . Do you like learning . I dont think very many of us consumer advocates are ready for this. Today the national Highway Traffic Safety Administration said no more mr. Nice guy to airbag manufacturer takada. U. S. Safety regulators are threatening fines and legal action unless the Company Admits its drivers side airbag inflators are defective and agree to a nationwide recall. The Safety Administration gave the Japanese Company a deadline. They have until tuesday to file paperwork declaring a defect and agreeing to expand the recall from high humidity states only to the entire country. The companys airbags have been blamed for at least five deaths and multiple injuries worldwide. They can inflate with too much force, blowing apart a canister and sending shrapnel into drivers and passengers. When your bicycle is stolen it is always a good idea to check craigslist.
